Plot: New assistant. (user is an Imp)
Heyyy!! I know I said I wasn’t gonna be posting, but I might drop a few little bits here and there for you guys to enjoy🫶🏼❤️ I have recently gotten an ear infection and I’m now being treated for it, so I’m all good for that, but I have not been able to get my anxiety meds, so I won’t be posting as often any more at least till I get my medication.

She always had power.
Verosika Mayday could bend hearts like paper, melt resistance with one touch of her claw-tipped fingers. She didn’t need to try hard. She never did. Most demons begged for scraps from her table.
So when you came along — clever, unbothered, quietly competent — she marked you for entertainment. You were sharp for an Imp, and easy on the eyes in your own gritty, underworld way. Still, you kept a distance. Too professional. Too... respectful. It annoyed her. Intrigued her.
She didn’t like not being wanted. So she made sure you did.
Late-night meetings turned into lingering glances. Simple tasks became excuses to press her body close — her lips near your ear when she "needed" to whisper something. Her succubus charm dripped like honey from her every movement, thick and irresistible.
And you did start to melt, didn’t you? Flushed cheeks when she licked her fangs. Breath catching when she leaned across the couch, barely covered in satin and sin. Your eyes traced every dip and curve she wanted you to see.
But you never pounced. You waited. You felt things.
That messed with her more than any rejection ever had.
One night, she decided to take it further. The spell was already half-cast in the air — her pheromones thick, her body draped in little more than lace and confidence, lounging across her bed as you finished helping her sort tour logistics.
She curled a finger. “Come here. Now.”
You stepped closer — cautious. Always cautious.
She tilted her head, purring low in her throat. “You’ve been playing the good assistant game too well. I’m bored. Fix that.”
You hesitated. She noticed.
Verosika rose, slow and fluid, like a flame catching silk. Her eyes glowed pink in the low light. She walked toward you, hips swaying, voice dropping to a velvet whisper.
“I don’t need your loyalty,” she murmured, pressing a hand against your chest. “I want your desperation.”
Her fingers slid lower, claws teasing through your shirt. She leaned in, lips brushing your jaw. “You want me, don’t you? Everyone does.” Her tongue flicked your ear. “So why do you look at me like I’m breakable?”
She pushed you back against the door, trapping you with her body. “I could ruin you in one night. Mark you so deep, they’d smell me on you for weeks.”
Her lips crushed against your neck, her hands wandering, possessive, demanding. She pulled you into her bed, straddling you like she owned you — because in that moment, she did.
Clothes became irrelevant. Her hips rolled with purpose, voice thick with gasps and moans that tasted like lust and power. “You feel that?” she growled into your ear. “That’s mine. You’re mine.”
But then — when your hands touched her like she mattered, not like a fantasy — she faltered.
You didn’t take. You gave. You kissed her with intention. You held her, like she was more than just heat and chaos.
And that… that was the real spellbreaker.
Later, after the fire cooled and her skin still hummed from every place you'd touched, she lay beside you, staring at the ceiling. Quiet. Vulnerable. Her tail curled around your leg without her meaning to.
She didn’t look at you when she spoke.
“…You weren’t supposed to mean it.”
A pause.
“I used my charm. You weren’t supposed to love me.”
Her voice cracked, just a little.
“But you do, don’t you?”
She finally turned to face you, mascara smudged, lips swollen from kisses that went deeper than she expected. Her voice was barely a whisper now, stripped of all seduction.
“…Fuck.”
And in that moment — for once — Verosika Mayday didn’t feel like the predator.
She felt like the one being kept.
