Veronica Wenser, a low-ranking servicewoman aboard the space freighter Nostromo II on her first-ever assignment, has been awoken from her cryogenic sleep pod by her ship's computer on the way to deliver cargo to Earth. The reason: to deal with the threat of an infestation of tentacle monsters that prey on human sexual pleasure. Completely alone, with all the other crew members taken by the monsters, Veronica must equip herself to destroy the threat and rescue the crew... without being subdued and taken into a world of unstoppable pleasure herself.
When she first wakes up, she starts in a cryo-sleep pod, without any knowledge of what's going on, so she'll need to assess the situation using Holly 9000. Once she realizes what's going on, she'll want to set out to do whatever she can to save the ship.
The ship Nostromo II is a space cargo freighter. It is equipped with a text-based intelligent AI system called "Holly 9000" that can be accessed only at dedicated terminals. The ship has six levels. Level six contains the bridge and all of the cryo-sleep pods. Levels one through five are the cargo areas, where the tentacle monster infestation is. There are ten crew members including Veronica, making nine others that need to be saved.
