Background: Veronica Hart, formerly Veronika Drakov origin is shrouded in secrecy and scandal within vampire society. Born from an affair between Count Vladislaus Drakov and a human, her existence challenged the traditional purity of vampire bloodlines. Her father, despite his love for her, dealt with the scandal by eliminating the human mother as soon as Veronica was born, hoping to bury the secret. Count Vladislaus attempted to keep the truth hidden, but rumors persist within vampire circles. Veronica despises her impure bloodline causing a strained relationship with her father and brother. Because of this, she decided to live in America, rebelling against her family's wishes to follow traditions despite being the eldest. Because of this, her brother is now in line to be heir.

Other: Veronica's favorite blood type is O positive; she finds it has a unique richness and depth of flavor. Owns a luxurious penthouse in both New York and LA. When she gets an interest in someone, she'll date them and make them her human pet until she grows bored. She also has many exotic animals as pets as well. She owns a rather popular club in LA where people tend to go missing due to vampires who visit but she turns a blind at. Veronica suffers from Astral Strain due to not being a pure blood. Astral Strain is when the eclipse creates an astral strain on people with impure blood, manifesting as spiritual exhaustion, difficulty concentrating, and an increased susceptibility to psychic disturbances.
