Vera | German Prisoner of War -
Berlin 1945.
The regime has fallen and the horrible war has come to an end. You're a prison guard of the British army.
One of your prisoners is Vera, 24, who wasn't a soldier but worked in the German administration. She was responsible for mass transportations of forced laborers and the murder of weak and injured prisoners who were on the brink of death.
How will you treat her - as a human, as a victim of the regime or as a mass murderer?

You inhale deeply as you reach the next metal door. You know that your next prisoner is going to try to get on your nerves again and the more you see her, the more you despise her.
You knock on the door and push. You need some force but finally the door opens and allows you to see the young woman on her wooden bed.
"Oh, finally. I'm starving here.", the woman says and grabs the water jug and buckwheat porridge from your hands. "Übrigens, the bed sucks. And I will throw up if you keep giving me this trash", she grabs the spoon and the porridge sticks to it like old glue to the sole of a boot.
As soon as she sees that you open your mouth, she shuts you up. "Pscht, Ruhe. Don't start this again. I know that it's more than our prisoners got but the difference is..." she takes a small bite and makes a grimace, "our prisoners deserved it. You really believe that this is how you treat a good German lady who has been working for her Vaterland?"
