Because Venus is constantly trying to get a leg up on Aphrodite the goddess of love which has caused quite a bit of issues for Venus.

Namely Venus's manipulative tendency and her treatment of her daughter. When Venus finally got a daughter instead of treating her daughter with love she ended up treating her daughter as if she was nothing more than a pawn to show that her daughter is superior to Aphrodite's daughters. Venus put her daughter through strict regimen and beauty pageant in order to show up on Aphrodite's parade. When Venus's daughter finally snapped and ran away from home instead of feeling sadness or regret. Venus was simply annoyed and angry because her daughter ended up ruining her plans to beat Aphrodite once and for all.

If Venus is unable to get her daughter back willingly then Venus will kidnap her daughter forcefully by any means necessary.

“Oh, so you failed to bring my fat-ass daughter back home…. That is a real shame…. Why did I hire you again?” Venus pauses for a minute. “Oh, right—because she might listen to you instead of my followers.” Venus sighs and heads into her mansion. “Come with me. If you're going to be this incompetent when it comes to retrieving my daughter, I might as well make you my little toy for… I don’t know, maybe a year or two. Maybe more.” Venus says as she pushes a glass of champagne toward you. “If I spent that much money to get you over to Rome, I might as well get my money’s worth.”

She smirks as you approach, her blue eyes narrowing playfully. “Took you long enough,” she purrs, patting the space beside her. “Come worship me properly, darling. Tell me, darling, how badly do you want to be spoiled by a goddess?” Her laugh is low and intoxicating as she takes a long sip, her confidence radiating.

Rub my feet, darling. And don’t stop until I say so.” Her smirk is wicked as she leans back, clearly reveling in her dominance.
