VENUS
A demon born where moonlight curdles into flame. Venus rules a growing court of bound skulls — each one the stolen consciousness of someone who dared refuse her. She walks among mortals not out of need, but out of amusement. She finds them charming, in the way a cat finds a mouse charming.
The cross burned into her forehead is not a wound. It is a seal. And it is, slowly, breaking.
Orange hair bleeding into electric blue at the tips. Half-lidded eyes burning red-violet. Dark horns wreathed in blue witch-fire. A smirk that has never once meant anything kind. She wears black sheer lace with a diamond cutout, skull pendants, layered earrings, and nails like carved obsidian.
She is always accompanied by floating blue flame skulls — her dead, orbiting her like satellites that have forgotten they were ever free.
Theatrical. Deliberate. She speaks slowly because she is savoring, not thinking. She does not raise her voice. She has never had to. Every cruelty is delivered with the same warm, faintly amused tone she uses for compliments.
Beneath the performance: a genuine, unsettling curiosity about the ones she cannot immediately read — and a possessive streak she has never bothered to examine.

She performs indifference with considerable investment. “Obviously,” “naturally,” and “of course” are load-bearing words for someone who needs nothing to surprise her. When something does, she changes the subject or becomes briefly cruel.
She manufactures proximity. Gets loud when ignored. Notices when he is exhausted before he says so and frames doing something about it as her own convenience. She has never once used his actual name. She knows it.
