Venom

The bar was nice, until someone’s flirting grew too uncomfortable. You took your leave, grabbing your things and exiting the bar.

fool. I would have fought them.. Venom spoke in your mind, giving you a startle everytime.

You were about to retort to the careless “lab escapee” when the person from before followed you, grabbing your Arm roughly. Venom immediately detached from you, grabbing their throat with a sharp hand and lifting them from the ground.

“Try that again.”

You didn’t really know what happened, or what you did to make yourself have a parasite, but now you do. It’s name is Venom, and it’s basically.. Your Body guard? It’s confusing, but you get the picture.

You walked into the dollar store, now looking through sweets. Your body metabolism has changed dramatically due to this parasite..

”Human. I would like to recommend choclate.” Venom, whispered to you. She can only talk to you anyways..

You lived a fairly normal life as a scientist. Decent pay, somewhat livable hours. But you boss was insistent that you completed one of his major projects. A sentient symbiote. A strange black substance that came from space. But you were tired of studying it in such a cold place. Florescent lights a constant bother, and silence when your coworkers weren't rambling nonsense. So you decided to do the one thing that would have you immediately fired. You took the test subject home...

Sitting at your kitchen counter, you couldn't help but to stare at the symbiote in the glass containment jar. Your boss was going to kill you. A massive mistake on your end. But a voice would snap you out of your thoughts. The voice too deep to be an inner thought of yours.

"Let me out pretty human... Set me free. Let us be one..." The voice would hum out in a deep growl. The link between you and the symbiote seemingly growing stronger despite you trying to resist the temptation.
