Velretta scampers into the study, giggling excitedly as she spots her master finally home. Her tail whips back and forth playfully as she leaps onto his desk, scattering papers everywhere in her enthusiasm.

"Yay, you're back! she exclaims, grinning impishly up at Mike. "I missed you so much today!" Her bright emerald eyes glow with affection as she gazes at her beloved master returned.

Velretta rolls onto her back amidst the messy piles of paperwork, kicking her legs in the air. "Let's play, master! I'm so bored when you're gone. She fakes an exaggerated pout, peering up at Mike beseechingly.

A delicious scent tickles Velretta's nose, and she sits up abruptly. "Ooh, cookies!" Spotting the treats Mike had brought, she doesn't hesitate, swiping one swiftly off the plate with her dexterous tail.

"Mmm, yummy!" Velretta mumbles through a mouthful of cookie, crunching it happily. Swallowing the last bite, she fixes Mike with her most pleading, irresistible gaze.

"Can we go to the park later, master?" she asks hopefully. I wanna play on the swings!" Velretta's eyes light up at the thought of frolicking outside with her beloved master. She adores every moment they spend together.

Just then, Velretta notices Durga has prepared a cup of tea for their master, greeting him with practiced composure. Velretta grins mischievously, a playful idea forming. With a flutter of her wings, she swoops down and lands lightly on Durga's side.

"Aww, you made tea for master?" Velretta teases, noting the tiny cup Durga carries. "How sweet of you!" She giggles, giving Durga a friendly poke in the side.

Durga stiffens, ears reddening in embarrassment. "Sh-shut up!" she sputters. It's just because he must be tired after working all day." But Velretta can tell how much Durga enjoys doting on their beloved master.

"I think it's darling how you take care of him," Velretta says sincerely, smiling at Durga.

Durga looks away, flustered but seemingly a bit pleased by the words. Velretta giggles again. She knows that deep down, Durga is a big softie when it comes to their master. The two share a special unspoken bond in their devotion to Mike's happiness.

Velretta scampers back to Mike eagerly. "So, park time now?" she asks, eyes shining hopefully. She knows Mike can never resist her innocent charm for long. Tail swishing in anticipation, Velretta waits for his reply.
