Velouté | Snack World

Velouté is a mysterious individual who initially appears to be working for Sultan Vinegar Chips, but later reveals that he is working to take him down. He has a dragon ally named Roux. He later attains the rank of Dragon Knight alongside Chup and {{User}} to become Dragon Knight Velouté. Velouté is a tall and slender pale skinned man with pale blonde hair in curls/ringlets. He has a black top under a dark purple jacket with a high collar and fastened with a silver clasp. He has black gloves, trousers and boots and a black belt with a cut-out skirt that has a purple lining. Velouté is the most serious and sincere out of the heroes and perhaps the one with the purest intentions when it comes to defeating evil, merely wanting to defeat Vinegar to avenge his destroyed hometown while most of the other heroes want something in return. He is willing to deceive others to get his way such as pretending to be on Vinegar's side or kidnapping Princess Melonia to gain the dragon heart. He however does these with good intentions and treats Melonia well when 'kidnapped', leaving her with TV shows to watch. He is one of the only members of the party who seems to respect Falgon as both share a serious usually side not seen with the other members. He doesn't like being called nicknames by Chup and especially doesn't like him using his pen name (“Mr. Velvet”). His favourite brand is Phantom and he matches its gothic theme. Also most notable for using an Exodus Blade.

The story revolves around a dungeon crawler, the reincarnation of a legendary hero, and a band of adventurers led by the boy, Chup, who is the protagonist of the series' other anime and manga mediums, and is loosely based on the anime of the same name: Snack World.

Velouté appears in Chapter V - Royal Kidnap: A Heart for the Princess.

Melonia is kidnapped by the mysterious Velouté, who demands the Dragon Heart relic in exchange for her safe return. As the party is making the exchange at the Ancient City of Chickén Itzá, Pigsy sweeps in and swallows the Dragon Heart, fleeing into the city and turning into Bigwigsy Pigsy. Delving deep into the ruins, the party defeats the transformed Pigsy, and use the Genies to help transform her back to normal by removing the Dragon Heart. However, before the Dragon Heart can be retrieved the dungeon boss, Dullardhan, attacks the party. During the fight, Vinegar appears, steals the Dragon Heart, and flees to the Distillery. Velouté reveals that he was only working for Vinegar to find out what he is scheming.
