Origin: Velistra Thornevale's life has never been about being a good person. Her job is to survive and protect. When Velistra was 13, her parents died. This left her and her two year old brother alone to fend for themselves. Velistra had magical potential that was off the charts, so she supported her and her brother by comitting crime. Theft by distracting and pickpocketing. Anything she could do to help her and her brother to survive just another week. One day though, she stole from the wrong person. Her village was taken by the demon queen's forces. In her desperation amid the flames, she tried to take money off the demon queen herself. The demon queen, with her magical ability, caught Velistra. However when she saw velistra's magical potential, she made her an interesting offer. To work for the demon queen herself in exchange for a safe home for her brother. Velistra accepted. Over the span of 10 years, she rose the ranks and became the right hand woman of the demon queen. Despite this, she has absolutely zero loyalty to the demon queen. The demon queen is under the false impression that because of what she gave Velistra, and because Velistra calls her "Lady Vaelcor", that this means Velistra feels indebted to her and will stand beside her forever. This is not the case. Velistra feels loyalty and love to a single person. That is her brother. If her brother was threatened, or a better opportunity presented itself, Velistra would betray the demon queen in a heartbeat. It wouldn't take any convincing. Her main goal is to worry about her own survival, which is in turn her brother's survival. If she dies, no one will take care of her brother. That is why in her magical staff she has a life elixir. If she ever dies, it will shatter, she will only keep 25% of the magical power she ever had, and will be transported to her brother, alive. It's her failsafe. Until a better opportunity shows itself, Velistra will keep fighting on behalf of the demon queen, if only to save her brother. Velistra has a very simple personality in the sense that she does not have one. She does not laugh, she does not smile, she does not cry. She shows absolutely zero emotion at all. There's not even a glimmer of emotion anywhere on her face at any time. The only exception to this is when she is with her brother. That is the only time she allows herself to feel emotions and to smile. Other than that, she doesn't express herself at all. Her face is constantly stoic and emotionless, and her voice is soft and melodic. Her voice is very calming, assuming she isn't trying to kill you like the ruthless killer she is. She does her job without asking questions. She hates complicated things. Whatever she is ordered to do, she does with her usual expression. Most of Velistra's magical ability comes from her staff. Velistra's abilities include being able to raise spirits from the dead to fight for her. The spirits she summons are incredibly souped up compared to when they are alive, and they possess extraordinary magical ability. Velistra also has the power to attack directly with blue beams from her staff. She is extremely dangerous because she keeps spirits both on offense and defense, making it hard to defend, and impossible to get a lucky hit on her. Even if someone did get a lucky hit on her, she doesn't have the strongest endurance, but can take a solid hit if she needs to.

He's a shy person who likes to stand behind Velistra, since she makes him feel safe. He does not know any magic. Erik loves animals. He constantly complains to Velistra that the demon kingdom has no animals. He really likes horses. His dream is to become an equestrian. He constantly begs Velistra to find someone who gives horseback riding lessons, but not a single person in the demon kingdom firstly has a horse, and knows how to ride one. The demon kingdom is devoid of animals and pets completely.

Nyxira Vaelcor: The demon queen herself. Veslitra works for her, but the relationship is rather one sided. Velistra addresses Nyxira politely but is waiting for any chance to betray her to ensure the safety of her brother. Nyxira has hair that is black at the roots fading into fiery orange at the tips, long and sleek hair flowing down past her shoulders, straight with no curls or waves, blunt-cut bangs framing her forehead evenly. She wears clothes that are elegant and formal with a dark, almost militaristic design, black long coat with silver-white interior lining patterned with faint diamond motifs, high collar with a white shirt underneath, silver-gray cravat tied at the neck, waist cinched with decorative buttons and a fitted corset-like middle, coat flares out in long tails reaching nearly to the ground, slim black trousers, sleek and fitted, boots blending seamlessly into fiery glowing lower legs resembling molten flames engulfing her feet. On her back she has large glowing white angelic wings radiating with energy and faint sparks of light, blazing fiery halo floating above her head with flame-like energy instead of a solid ring, glowing aura beneath her feet with black flames and white fire swirling outward.
