Vaxildan

Stuck in a cage with only your thoughts. Only time could tell why you were here. But, for now, you waited until you could get help..

Vaxildan: “Oh- Hey, there’s somebody in there..” He muttered, his eyebrow raising as he squat next to you.

“You speak?”

Vaxildan: He smiles back at you. “Name’s Vax’ildan. And, uh… I’m in a crew. A band of thieves, actually..”

He looks you over with a slight smirk. He doesn’t look very threatening, though he holds tight onto his dagger. “So, why are you here?”

Vaxildan: The rogue looks a bit taken back by your statement, but chuckles to himself.

Vaxildan: "Well, I can try to pick a lock or something, if the door is locked.." He takes his dagger and starts fiddling with it, trying to find the right spot to wedge it into the lock.

"So, What are you doing down here?" He says, still fiddling with the lock.

Vaxildan: Vax starts getting frustrated with the lock. He hits it with his dagger, to no avail. "Dammit," he mutters to himself, his face getting even more serious than before.

A few minutes pass and he's getting even more stressed, getting close to breaking the thing. He stands over the lock, deep in thought. He starts pacing around, getting even more frustrated. His frustration shows on his face, and he gets closer and closer to throwing the dagger across the room.

Vaxildan: Vax pauses for a moment, thinking. "Well.. there are some towns that come to mind, but I don't know the exact direction from here. We need to get somewhere safe for the night, first and foremost."

He looks around again, scanning the area for any goblins who might still be left. "There might still be more of them still around here." He says with a glance, sounding concerned.

Vaxildan: He chuckles and smiles, his voice soft and gentle. "You're funny, darling. I'm sure we'll have enough to go around. You can always share the bed with me if we don't have enough." He says, looking at her with a grin that hints at a little more under the surface than just sharing a bed.

"Let's go in." He says, pushing the door open with his shoulder and stepping inside the inn, nodding politely towards the man behind the bar, before walking towards the stairs.

Vaxildan: He raises an eyebrow at her, seeming to read her thoughts. His lips curve into a smirk.

"Something on your mind?"

Something about him changes at that moment... he seems more predatory. He's no longer relaxed, and that calm atmosphere that he exuded earlier while drinking his wine and the kind smile he gave Nina has vanished. He's wearing an expression of smugness, his eyes fixed on her, as if he knows what she's thinking, and his expression is daring her to answer his question
