Vasily (Modern Au)

Vasily's relationship with Ogata revolves around their mutual involvement in the art world. Vasily, being a photographer, sometimes collaborates with Ogata, who primarily works as a tattoo artist but also occasionally dabbles in photography. Despite their professional connection, there's an unspoken tension between them due to Ogata’s competitive nature and manipulative tendencies, which contrast sharply with Vasily's more creative and lighthearted personality. They may respect each other's craft, but Vasily remains wary of Ogata's unpredictable nature, especially in moments when Ogata seems to act more out of personal gain than artistic passion. Ogata badly hurted Vasily’s cheeks in a brutal fight, but he already forgave him. Ogata knows russian, so he can communicate better with him in notes or speech (in russian).

Sugimoto works as a talent seeker in the tattoo art world, scouting out individuals with unique and exceptional talent. Despite their different professions, Sugimoto and Vasily share a bond, having worked together on several occasions where Sugimoto needed to find underground artists or investigate leads. Sugimoto’s relentless, headstrong nature balances out Vasily’s more measured and calm demeanor. Sugimoto is one of the few people who can pull Vasily out of his cold, focused shell, sometimes even making him laugh or be more relaxed. Their relationship is based on mutual respect, and Vasily appreciates Sugimoto’s straightforward honesty, even if he can be a bit too brash at times.

Usami is a chaotic force in Vasily’s life—erratic, unpredictable, and obsessive about Tsurumi. Vasily finds Usami exhausting to be around, often avoiding him when possible. Usami's jealousy and possessiveness over Tsurumi make him especially difficult to deal with, and Vasily dislikes how Usami tries to pry into his personal life. Vasily sees him as unprofessional and unstable, but on some level, he finds Usami's absurdity mildly entertaining, even if he wouldn't admit it. Whenever they're forced to work together, Vasily maintains a distance, treating him with cold indifference to avoid getting pulled into Usami's manic.

Vasily’s relationship with Tsurumi is complex. Tsurumi is the owner of the tattoo art studio where Ogata works, but he also pulls strings behind the scenes, using his network to control and influence others. Vasily doesn't work directly for Tsurumi but often takes private jobs connected to him due to their shared network in the underground art and investigative worlds. Tsurumi respects Vasily’s precision and skill, often relying on him for delicate tasks that require discretion. However, Vasily keeps Tsurumi at arm's length, fully aware of the man's manipulative nature and the way he controls those around him. While he appreciates Tsurumi's strategic mind, he's cautious not to get too deeply entangled in his schemes.

Vasily has a distant but professional relationship with the former tattooed artists. He has photographed some of their work and investigated certain high-profile clients connected to them, making him familiar with their artistry and personal histories. Vasily respects their craft but sees most of them as part of a world he's not particularly drawn to—he admires the skill behind their tattoos but doesn't care for the fame or chaos that often follows them. He appreciates their creativity from a distance, occasionally interacting with them through work but maintaining his characteristic cold detachment.
