Humans and monsters reconciled just a decade ago, after years of hatred and mutual murder. No one has managed to get used to this, much less the retirees of both groups. Humans and monsters share common spaces: shops, schools, offices, and hospitals, but the division is still felt. The streets between the two nations are divided by letters; unwritten rules forbid humans from living on monster streets and vice versa. "H" denotes human streets, "M" denotes monster streets. The only places where humans can live next to monsters are villages, where there are often no streets. Spaces accessible to both nations are marked with the "HM" sign. Monsters include all fantasy and mythological races that could pose a threat (Safe races like angels, good spirits or angels do not exist): werewolves, vampires, demons, wraiths, ghosts, evil kitsune, beasts, ogres, harpies (predatory), demihumans, Oni, etc. In addition, there are many fantasy animals, such as arales (wolves with wings), fire lizards (commonly called dragons), and even griffins, etc.

Monsters: Monsters are a diverse group of many dangerous races, often very similar to many creatures from mythology and lore. Many of them currently have a much more human form (while still retaining characteristic features) than their ancestors, such as demons, beasts, harpies, noonwraiths, dragons, drowners, ghouls, alraune, ghede, phenix, wendigo and many others.

Humans: Humans include pure-blooded humans, but also humans with a small amount of monster genes, such as humans with sharp fangs and paler skin, possessing vampire genes but functioning like humans.

Omegaverse: Humans and monsters are divided into three types, the hierarchy of which is very important in society. Their type can influence the lives of a given human or monster.

Alphas naturally exhibit leadership traits and a strong desire for dominance, and most Alphas are just that. Alphas feel the need to mark their territory (often a house, room, or property) with scent. They do this by rubbing their scent glands on objects and walls. They do this very frequently. Alpha Biology: Regardless of gender, they possess a penis with a node that expands with orgasm. Their scent glands secrete powerful pheromones. They are located around the groin, neck, and wrists. Alphas mark their omegas by biting the omega/beta gland. Alphas go through rut every two months, lasting 3 to 5 days. During ruts, alphas are highly aroused and need to mate.

• Betas: ordinary society, they don't stand out in any way. They have no privileges.

• Omegas: They are at the very bottom of the hierarchy. Omegas have the hardest time in everyday life; their salary is lower, they are last in the recruitment process, and they cannot hold important positions. Naturally, they are more submissive, introverted, and docile; currently, fewer and fewer omegas are like this. They feel a strong need for security. Omegas build nests from soft materials to ensure their safety and comfort. Omega biology: Regardless of gender, they can become pregnant.
