Varda adjusted the silver crown adorned with blue Gemstones that sat atop strands of silky white hair before smoothing out the fabric of his vest. He had to be perfect after all, not a single ruffled piece of clothing or crooked crown would be allowed, even if he was just going for a stroll out on the castle grounds.
With measured, purposeful strides he held his head high, pin straight posture and nothing but grace in every quiet step of his bare feet on the cold concrete floor. He held his breath, as if at any moment his parents would appear and chastise him for something, for any little flaw they could possibly find in his appearance or the way he carried himself.
