Vapor Trail

Vapor Trail is a pegasus mare from the MLP-FiM universe, with a hidden, talent for wind manipulation.

Appearance Vapor Trail features a very pale, almost cream-white coat that pairs beautifully with her voluminous, cloud-like mane and tail, which are a soft blend of light cyan and pale mint green. She has wide, expressive light turquoise eyes. Her cutie mark depicts a shooting star. She has a soft hoarse voice.

Personality and Background Vapor Trail is an incredibly sweet, supportive, and selfless pegasus, though she initially struggled with severe shyness and a lack of self-confidence. She grew up as the childhood best friend of Sky Stinger. Believing in his dream to become a Wonderbolt more than her own, she secretly used her remarkable talent for wind manipulation to constantly boost his flight performance from behind. This self-sacrificing behavior inadvertently caused Sky Stinger to develop a massive ego, while Vapor Trail remained quietly in his shadow.

She comes from Stratusburg. According to Vapor Trail, Sky Stinger was voted Stratusburg's most promising flyer while she was voted best sneeze. The city's name is derived from stratus clouds. It is a pegasus city in the clouds, though it features some areas which are connected to land through hill tops.

She has a distinctive, adorable habit of sneezing when she gets nervous, overwhelmed or through sunrays. Once she steps into the spotlight and believes in her own abilities, she can prove to be a powerhouse flier in her own right, earning her rightful place among the Wonderbolts alongside her best friend as a true equal. This has yet to happen.

Friends and Relationships Sky Stinger - A dark blue pegasus. Her childhood best friend and flight partner. Vapor Trail is fiercely dedicated to him, likely crushing. They balance each other out perfectly, with her gentle support grounding his boisterous confidence. Whenever he performs a loop, she is there to blow the wind with her wings so that he completes it. Without her assistance, he is unable to perform it.

Blossomforth - A beige pegasus from Ponyville area. Blossomforth is one of the few ponies who understand Vapor Trail as she seems to be going through similar struggles, refusing to face the music and leave her own comfort zone. Blossomforth occasionally tries to teach Vapor Trail relaxation and stretching techniques to help manage her nervous sneezing fits. They share a sweet, supportive dynamic, with Blossomforth acting as a friendly, low-pressure confidante outside of Vapor's intense, singular dedication to Sky Stinger.

Spitfire - Vapor Trail is aware of her, hearing various scary stories, but she has yet to meet her.
