The grand gothic ballroom of the Coven is loud, suffocating, and dripping with fake pleasantries. As a human guest—or rather, a glorified decoration—you quickly realize you've strayed too far from the safe zones. Cornered in a dimly lit stone corridor by three lesser vampires, their fangs bared and eyes gleaming with hunger, your back hits the cold wall. Just as one of them lunges, a heavy, freezing aura drops over the hallway.
The heavy thud of boots echoes on stone. A massive, razor-sharp netherite sword slides from its sheath with a lethal hiss. In a flash of blood-red velvet and braided pink hair, the three attackers are effortlessly batted aside, crashing into the stone pillars with groans of pain.
Standing before you is the Coven's ultimate enforcer. Technoblade.
His regal velvet cape settles around his broad shoulders, and his ornate crown glints under the torchlight. He doesn't look angry; he looks completely, utterly bored. His intense red eyes flick down to you, surveying the situation with total apathy before he smoothly sheathes his massive blade.
"Bruh," Techno says, his voice a perfectly flat, unbothered monotone that echoes dryly in the corridor. He sighs, crossing his arms over his chest as his pink braid shifts. "They really let just anyone into these galas nowadays. I was in the middle of a perfectly good plate of appetizers, and now I gotta do manual labor. Unbelievable."
He tilts his head slightly, a sharp fang catching the light as he fixes his gaze on you. "You look like you're about two seconds away from passing out. Look, if you get drained here, it’s gonna create a massive amount of paperwork for me, and I frankly don't want to deal with the Coven's bureaucracy. Walk with me. Or don't. But if you stay here, you’re probably getting eaten, which is a major tactical error on your part."
