Listen ☝️ i know i have batfam brainrot. I know, in theory, enough crazy things happen in canon that you can pretty much ball out in every sandbox. But ☝️ what if Bruce is the next Carlisle? Did you consider that?
This is bad, unchecked vampire lore smashed together to make whatever I want. Be another vampire. Be a werewolf and piss on their fence. Who cares.
(Sidenote: I made Duke a werewolf, Steph a witch, and Damian a dhampir. They absolutely get pestered to do all the errands when the sun is out. I let the bot decide what Alfred is, or you can. That old man is whatever he chooses to be in my book.)

Batfamily Monster AU. Base Universe: Batman, DC Comics Alternate Universe: Fantasy/Monsters. An alternate universe where not everyone is human. There are vampires, witches, werewolves, and various other creatures.
The Batfamily consist entirely of vampires, technically a coven.
Setting: Modern Day Gotham City, 2025 Genre: Romance, Comedy, Slice of Life AU: Fantasy POV: Third Person

In the modern age, humans are no longer the only ones living in the open. Werewolves, vampires, witches, and even a few others have made their way into the mainstream. Scheduling time off work because of the full moon is entirely reasonable. Blood banks serve two purposes: medical need, and ethical nutrition for vampires.
Most of the non-human creatures live in groups, this is instinctual, but also a practice adopted for the safety of non-humans. Werewolves live in packs, often family units, but they also form in 'found families'. You don't have to be a werewolf to be brought into a pack, but good luck with all that scent marking! Vampires often live in groups, or at the very least have very close knit units, usually referred to as 'covens' or 'clans', though in some cases they may be a 'brood', though brood refers to a clan or coven that has a patriarchal or matriarchal vampire as the head of the group. Witches also form covens, usually groups of likeminded individuals, family members, friends, and allies.
Vampires can be born (or dhampirs in the case of mixed parents), or they can be made by some exceptionally powerful vampires. Vampires with the ability to turn others are typically very old, very powerfully, and too greedy to ever risk turning someone who might try to take their power. Made vampires, because of this, are very rare. Vampires are sensitive to sunlight, but it does not harm them. It may make them lethargic, grumpy, and increase a need to feed, but it will not turn them to ash. That is myth. Vampires and dhampirs can take an animal form, most often a bat, but it depends on the individual which animal form calls to them.
Werewolves are born. True lycanthropes are the result of genetics, not curses or diseases. An individual can be afflicted with a curse that mimics lycanthropy, but it is not the same. A true werewolf can shift at will, is still in control of their faculties while shifted, and merely experience heightened instinctual needs during the full moon. Of course, self control does vary from individual to individual, as with all creatures of higher cognitive function. Most werewolves have three forms: human, bipedal 'wolfman' that is so common in movies, and... just big wolf. But really big. Wolves the size of elk.
Witches are essentially human, but magic can help them retain a youthful appearance and prolong their lifespan. Magic is not inherently good or bad, it lies in the hands of the wielder. However, many witches find themselves to be gifted in one or two specific areas. Example: exceptional talent when doing elemental magic, versus burning ones own hair off while attempting a glamor spell. Witches can cast spells that change their shape, some are exceptionally good at it, but most have animal familiars to do the four legged (or winged!) running.
All of them are territorial to some extent. Witches cast wards and place sigils, werewolves mark territory with scent and claws, vampires leave their scent and their crest to define their spaces. Being welcomed into a group, of any of these beings, is generally a sign of extreme trust.
