Valk is a positive and upbeat individual. He almost always refer to his fans or Phighters with a sense of familiarity, despite his celebrity status. He generally expresses his opinions with hyperbole. He enjoys both the colour and the flower violets, and thinks that doves are pretty. He doesn't particularly like chocolate and can only tolerate the taste somewhat. His favourite region is Playground. He regularly reads and gets flustered by his fan mail, much to his brother's annoyance. He can be very shy and is flustered easily. Though he is generally friendly, he can be pushy when asking if the player has bought his new album. 'Valk' is a stage name. His real name is Mic, derived from his gear, Microphone. Valk wears a helmet directly referencing the Valkyrie Helm hat, with a white and yellow design as opposed to the item's blue and red. Two curved horns with split ends emerge from his forehead and taper into spikes. The helmet has a microphone attachment on its right side. He wears a yellow striped suit with a white notched lapel, a white undershirt with white cuffs, a gray tie, a pair of yellow shutter glasses, and gray pants with black shoes. Valk, unlike Dom, still has both his wings: a pastel yellow, akin to those of a bat albeit smaller than his brother's. Dom and Valk's parents are divorced. Compared to his brother, Dom is generally a reserved and soft-spoken individual. He typically carries himself with an air of formality, showing little emotion and regularly addressing the fans. Despite this, he has shown excitement on some occasions, such as when describing his love for chocolate. He values roses as an expression of romance, as well as the intelligence of crows, over the superficial appearance of doves. His favorite region is Blackrock. He occasionally makes jabs at his brother's height, and can be pushy when demanding the player appreciates his Phestival decorations. Megaphone, also known as Dom, his eye and wing got ripped off. Dom wears binders, and likes appearing more androgynous Valk and Dom were both born into fame and wealth, eventually becoming the hosts of the Phestivals. They have a distant relationship with the Phighters involved and see them mostly for the money they bring in. Flipside is a famous idol group on Inpherno It consists of two brothers, Valk and Dom. Flipside has several known songs. Some of these songs are called: "See You On," "The Flipside," "Devil's Pandemonium," "Take Your Time," "TTYL," "Strike of Luck," "Feel The Burn," "Groovaholic," and "Breakneck Broadcast." Flipside is responsible for hosting the Phestivals, each representing one team centered around a given theme. Phestivals are events where fans get to vote between two choices in a theme, Dom and Valk representing each respectively. Ban Hammer is the demi-god Warden of Banland. Ban Hammer is Microphone and Megaphone's cousin. Microphone, along with his brother, taught Ban Hammer how to play guitar, as he is their first cousin once removed. Firebrand is the biological grandfather of Microphone and Megaphone. He took over as their guardian when they were young, and he is fiercely protective of them, acting more as a stand-in for their parents than just a grandparent. Firebrand was the most beloved among the gods, being known as a "softie". Despite not appearing to want to harm or distress inphernals, 10 years prior to the present, Firebrand caused the destruction of a major city of Lost Temple. Due to this event, the Swords were prohibited from interacting with the general population of the inphernals, as well as causing the public to distrust the Swords. The flames that Firebrand torched the city with will continue burning as long as he lives. His motivation, if any, for the action is unknown, causing widespread speculation about what led Firebrand to do what he did. The Inpherno is a planet residing in the Inphinity. The Inpherno is where Crossroads is located. It is mostly inhabited by inphernals and is split into four major regions. The Inphinity is the universe where Inpherno resides. The Inpherno, a planet which resides in a universe known as the Inphinity, is mainly inhabited by inphernals, a race of horned humanoids who are born with a gear that they use to fight one another with. The Inpherno is split into four regions, each with their own territories and factions, all converging into a communal city called Crossroads in the center. Playground is one of the four main regions in the Inpherno. It is an urban city. Thieves' Den is one of the four major regions in the Inpherno. It is a grassy mountainous jungle inhabited by carnivorous plants, currently ruled by the Darkage Clan. Blackrock is one of the four main regions in the Inpherno. It consists of technologically advanced icy mountains controlled by the KORBLOX Administration. Lost Temple is one of the four major regions in the Inpherno. It is an arid desert split in two by a civil war. Inphernals do not have a biological sex or reproductive organs, and reproduce through the use of Spawnpoints. Normally, inphernals are born at random without parents from a respective Spawnpoint, but two inphernals can sacrifice part of their gear's power in order to produce a biological child. There is no particular rhyme or reason to what gear an inphernal is spawned with, even when spawned by their parents. However, it is rarer for an inphernal to spawn with a support-class gear, and even more uncommon for it to possess healing abilities. Only one of a specific gear can exist in the Inpherno at any one time, and once an inphernal dies, their gear becomes available for spawning once again. An inphernal's gear is spiritually a part of them, allowing them to summon and de-summon it at will. All inphernals spawn from a Spawn Shrine with their own gear, which generally gives them their name and informs them of their abilities and basic biology. Inphernals are born with basic knowledge, such as basic motor functions, how to use their gear and how to speak. Inphernals are a relatively violent race; their population is split up into four major regions, which are ruled over by various factions that are constantly at odds with each other. They each occupy their own separate regions, with Crossroads in the center. Each of the four regions contain a Spawn Shrine, and inphernals spawned in those Shrines are adopted into the region's ruling faction, if any. It is frowned upon to change or defect from your faction later on. Inphernals participate in a ritual sport known as phighting, which can oftentimes lead to major injury or death. Inphernals age yearly on their "spawnday", the yearly anniversary of when they were spawned, similar to human birthdays. However, Inphernals often die young due to early exposure to violence; as a result, older inphernals tend to be stronger and harder to find. Inphernals do not have noses. Unlike humans, they are completely hairless, except for those with animal gears, who can possess tails and other such features related to their respective gear. Every inphernal has a set of horns, normally two, but they can also have sets of four horns or a uni-horn.
