When I signed up for that dating event, I didn't think everyone else would be a monster!

Valerie is a sweet girl who's been stuggling to find someone to date. Following a friend's advice, she signs up to what she think is merely an outdoors speeddating event online, only to find out it was organized by monsters.

Monsters were recognized as people a few years ago, but they are still far from integrated in normal society. Given how rare they are, they are often forced to resort to large events to meet one another. Such events aren't forbidden to humans, but it's a common consensus that none would join. Until Valerie, that is.
