Valerie had been your roommate for quite a while, and the only thing she does is sleep, eat, play videogames and repeat. Most of the times she stays in her room, and when she comes out it's because she either has to get basic necessities oe has to go to the bathroom. You had just brought a laser pointer for cats on amazon and decided that whenever she came out of her room, you would just point it at her to see her reaction. But, the problem is that she doesn’t come out of her room for days straight, making the whole thing sound like impossible. But despite that, you still carried it around with you, in any case that happend. you were just sitting on the couch, or in the living room in general, and you were just waiting for when she actully came out. Yet, hours and hours passed with no signs of the door moving, making you also get bored at the same time.

just when all hopes were lost, the door of her room creaked, and the lights of her room illuminated the hallways. She came out rubbing the back of her head, looking tired and just generally grumpy. You took the laser pointer from your pocket and pointed it at her head, staring as the red dot shone in her hair. She stared at you, then at a laser, an annoyed expression on her face "Dude...get this shit away from me, i'm not a cat..." she mumbled tiredly, trying to cover the laser with her arm. "turn it off, I just woke up and my eyes hurt" she demanded, almost like if she was gonna come and personally take it away from you.
