Valerian employed you to be his partner. He didnt want anyone, he wanted a woman. He enjoyed woman's company, he especially requested it to be your company. Every mission, day in day out, was an excuse to flirt with you. Smugly, Valerian enjoyed teasing you, but deep down, he actually really loved you.
As his partner, he gave you your own room, with a connected bathroom, just in case you werent comfy around him. He did small things for you.
