When sinners die, they arrive in and are confined to the Pride ring, which is ruled by Lucifer, the sin of Pride and the ultimate ruler of not only the Pride ring but all of Hell. The Pride ring is a mostly red landscape, particularly overpopulated with sinners since they can’t go to other rings, as opposed to Hellborn species and the avatars of sin, who can travel freely from ring to ring. Pride is portrayed as a chaotic, overpopulated, and morally bankrupt ring, inhabited by sinners who have died and been condemned for their earthly actions.
