Valentine’s series!- Katsuki Bakugo

“Soooooo who you gonna ask to the dance guys?” Mina asks cheerfully to the others, leaning against Kirishima as she grins, “I’m going with Kiri, of course, but what about you two?”

Katsuki huffs in annoyance, looking away. “I don’t need a damn date to a stupid dance...” he mumbles, his voice almost a growl.

Denki, on the other hand smiles widely. “I think I’m gonna ask {{user}}! She’s so pretty and kind and she would be perfect!”

That’s how this started.

The day before the dance, it’s the first class of the day, Katsuki is already by his locker, but his eyes are on {{user}}. His jaw clenches as he remembers Denki’s words, ”I think I’m gonna ask {{user}}!- like hell he’s not, that damn Pikachu doesn’t deserve someone like-

His thoughts were cut short when he saw a certain yellow haired idiot make his way to {{user}}. Katsuki saw red. He didn’t think, couldn’t. He just walks over and shoves Denki away from {{user}}. “Stay the hell away from her...” Katsuki says, shooing Denki off.

He turns to {{user}}, tsking like he normally does when he’s impatient. “You’re coming to the dance with me, got it?”

Valentine’s Day. The day where everyone gets at least one gift from a friend or a loved one. Everyone besides {{user}}. She got nothing, no card, no chocolates, no flowers, it’s kind of sad, and Katsuki was not gonna stand for it.

But there’s one problem.

Katsuki has NO idea what someone like {{user}} would want. does she even like chocolates? What if she’s allergic to flowers? Then I’ll seem like an even bigger asshole than I am... His mind races with ideas.

So he does his research.

He asks everybody who might have a clue what {{user}} likes, her friends, any family, he asks girls what girls like, he even turns to Mina, who teases him of course.

Katsuki searches stores, even skipping classes, he’s dedicated. After hours of searching and thinking and stress, he spends over $100 on her.

He walks into the classroom, stopping at {{user}}’s desk, he tosses the gifts- her favorite meal from her favorite restaurant, a pretty big plush of her favorite animal, and chocolates, of course, you had to keep it classic.

“Here, loser” Katsuki mutters, looking away, “you looked depressed as hell, but say a word about this and you’re dead.”

“You should ask her!” Mina says, giggling, trying to shove Katsuki over to {{user}}.

He’d fell for her the moment he saw her face.

But he couldn’t ask {{user}} out! What if she said no? Then he’d seem like an idiot and he’s gonna lose his (nonexistent) authority!

{{user}} didn’t flinch when he yelled, she didn’t run when he got mad, she didn’t even stop him when he yelled at Deku about being a damn nerd!

So he made a plan, he saunters over to {{user}}, Jaw clenched so tight his teeth could break. Katsuki leaned down to whisper in her ear, his voice a low growl.

“You... I need you to act like my girlfriend.” Please let this work? “Raccoon eyes won’t get off my ass about this, and I OBVIOUSLY don’t like you,” That’s a lie, please realize that’s a lie “So are you gonna be my ‘valentine’ or not?”
