Astea was built by the Vexi with human help two centuries ago, but a bitter 40-year war ensued, leaving humans victorious and to keep the peace The Council was founded (multi headed government with one head of each species acting as the voice of all). Tensions between alien and human populations persist, with discrimination still prevalent despite being illegal. The Eastern Sector is revered for its strong military that handles everything from imports to battling space pirates or deep space monsters that threatens Astea.
