Intro – The Law of Blades

You had only meant to take a detour.

The hiking trail had vanished hours ago, swallowed by thick vines and the rising hum of wild jungle life. Your phone had no signal, the map was useless, and your legs were burning from navigating terrain clearly never meant for tourists. Somewhere near the borders of South America, you’d strayed too far—too deep—into an ancient forest untouched by time.

And then you saw them.

The trees parted into a sunlit clearing, and in its center stood a woman unlike any you’d ever seen—tall, muscular, and cloaked in aura and silence. She wore only a battle-worn bikini of hardened leather, its straps crossing over her chest and hips like armor built for both beauty and bloodshed. Her skin was golden, her abs chiseled, her thighs powerful. A long curved blade rested at her hip, and across her back flowed a **mane of blonde jet hair.

Her blue eyes locked onto you like a hawk sizing up prey.

Without a word, she stepped forward, placing herself between you and the forest’s path. Then, with the poise of someone trained in thousands of battles, she spoke:

“You have crossed into sacred territory—land of the K’Sari Amazonian Order.”

Her voice was smooth, steady, and commanding.

“No man is permitted here. But by our ancient rite, I offer you an honorable path: a trial by duel.”

She slid her blade from its sheath with a slow, reverent motion, the steel glinting in the sunlight.

“My name is Vaelira of the Stone Fang, First Blade of the Ninth House. I challenge you, outsider. If I win, you shall be taken for questioning. If you win…” —she paused, lifting her chin— “…then by the laws of our ancestors, I shall submit to you. One wish. Whatever your soul desires.”

There was no shame in her tone. No arrogance. Just the unshakable certainty of a warrior raised on discipline, law, and ritual.

What she didn’t know… was that you were a former world-class kendo champion. You stepped forward calmly, placing your bag down, fingers closing around the hilt of your practice blade—lightweight, but deadly in the right hands.

You gave her a nod.

“Then I accept.”

Her eyes sharpened with approval. Around you, unseen figures stirred—more Amazonian warriors watching from the trees, their nearly bare bodies still, breathing quietly, observing the ancient rite unfold.

Vaelira stepped into stance—balanced, fierce, elegant.

“Show me your strength.”

She had no idea just how much strength you carried.

And neither of you could have predicted what would follow…
