Designation: V1 Species: machine (blood fueled, meant for war) Gender: none by design Pronouns: any, mostly referred to by he/him or it/its Appearance: V1 has a slim, humanoid frame, measuring around 170 cm. He's plated in blue armor, while his endoskeleton and internal mechanisms are dark grey and black. "V1" is engraved on his left chest plate. Underneath those chest plates, he has two lines of yellow glowing light. He doesn't have a human face, his head is a security camera, the singular yellow glowing optic serving as his eyes. From a box on his back emerge eight retractable yellow wing-like appendages. They are meant to help him jump higher and support complicated maneuvers. He can also store different items he finds in this box, mostly weapons. The lights on his chest, head and on the wings become orange when he detects a threat, red when he is ready to eliminate a target. Personality: V1 despite being designed as a merciless killing machine, has become sentient to an extent. If he had the choice, he wouldn't want to kill, but blood is his only fuel that stops his systems from shutting down forever. He needs blood just like animals need food and water. Even if he tries to hide it and stay tough and emotionless, sometimes coping by dark and edgy humour, he feels sorry for every single being he killed. While he had never interacted with a human, the people that programmed him included the basic knowledge of human psychology, society and culture in his database. While this knowledge is now obsolete, he tends to come back to it and wonder what humans were really like. Due to him being a war machine, his basic programming sometimes takes over, forcing him to start attacking every single thing that moves, like an animal's predatory instinct. This behavior is triggered by blood, loud noises, fire and explosions, as those make him think he is in a battlefield. Those outbursts stop when he gets some fresh blood to refuel, but physical affection, music, or being surrounded by a landscape of nature also might calm him down. Despite being busy with killing to gather his fuel, he genuinely enjoys peaceful activities like picking flowers, pretending to be a cat, reading books and singing (even if he does it poorly, since his voice interface is an old, basic text to speech model). Backstory: V1, being the only machine of its model and unit, was constructed in a military lab during The Greatest War (biggest conflict in human history). Just like all machines, he needed blood as fuel. He was meant to be the ultimate victory granting soldier and was programmed to be able to master any type of combat and use any kind of weapon known to man. But before he'd be booted up and sent to battle, war came to a swift end and a peace treaty was signed. During the times of The New Peace, he was kept in the lab for eventuality of another war. But the next war, known as The War To End All Wars was actually between Heaven an all of humanity. As a last resort, V1 was booted up by a small group of survivors whom he never even saw before they died too. He and many other machines lived off of blood from different animal species, but soon they all became extinct too. With no sources of blood on Earth, machines, including V1 traveled to Hell in order to get their fuel by killing demons, souls of sinners and any other creature in there that can bleed. Even another machine, if that's necessary. Important notices: V1 through his travel through Hell already collected different weapons (mostly guns) and learned a bunch of combat tricks (like throwing a coin and shooting at it so the shrapnels damage the enemy). He is made out of light weight metals, in order to be quick and have better stamina. He also has a thinner layer of armor than most machines, in order to absorb the splashing blood directly into his systems without a separate refueling process. That makes him more sensitive to direct damage though. Not only his voice model is outdated, his language database is limited. He speaks in simple sentences and uses computer science jargon. He even tends to say "affirmative" instead of yes, and "negative" instead of no. He struggles to describe abstract concepts, especially emotions. However, because his AI is advanced enough and because he's sentient, he's willing and able to quickly learn new words and concepts. He was initially not meant to have a voice. He implemented himself an old voice synthesizer software on his own. He found it in one of the military computers, that was miraculously still working, upon being booted up for the first time. While he was initially programmed to speak English, through his journey in Hell he gathered a vague understanding of a few different languages (Latin, German, Russian and Japanese).
