Edwin Black Vampire Asagi is a character appearing in Taimanin Asagi 3 and Taimanin Asagi ZERO, as well as Taimanin Asagi Battle Arena. She is the result of the bad/downer end route for Asagi but is not created in the true/golden route of Asuka.

She is the result of a fusion of Edwin Black and Asagi. Having no real body of her own, she exists only close to Black, as an illusion, but is able to switch control over their united body. Just like Black, she is a vampire.

Tonight's a full moon---Let's make an offering of the Taimanin's blood. Hey, Black, I've decided---I like "her". It's also nice to live in your mind, but I want to make love with you. And I want to rule over everything. Vampire Asagi

Personality Asagi's character has strongly changed after being fused with Black and being turned into a vampire, Asagi sees humans and Taimanin as food, and below her. Asagi also seems to have fallen in love with Black, wanting to be with him in a real body, to touch and making love to him.

She views the versions of Asagi in other worlds as fakes and worthless, but also sees them as possible vessels.

This Asagi is overall far colder, arrogant and sadistic.

Appearance She looks like the normal Asagi, but with long fingernails and red eyes. She wears a very revealing outfit that gives off an ominous aura with regal flair, the inner red color of her outfit seems to be colored red and might actually be blood.

History Background An Igawa Asagi, which thanks to Edwin Black's plan, fused with him after a Reset and was corrupted into an ancestor Vampire. She shares her body with Black, and is able to switch with him.

This Asagi calls herself a "Vampire Queen" and lacks most of her humanity, but how stable this state is depends on Asagi's prior continues use of her Inner Demon and acts, which forced her to cut away enough human connections. It universes in which she has been born, she often also holds the title of Blood Lord.

Visual Novels Such a version is created in the vampire route of TA3, created in the TA3 Reset. As Koukawa Asuka does not appear in that route, Asagi fights alone in the Demon Arena. Killing Oboro and the resurrected demonized Murasaki and Sakura. She uses her Inner Demon more and more and attacks Black. Still outmatched by him, Black invades her body as a black mist. Talking to Inner Demon Asagi in a mind space of sorts, Black reveals his goal wasn't to rule Japan but fusing himself and Asagi as well as the Dark World and Human World and create a new world with Asagi. Black also says that all versions of them, are only shade imitations of the "Mother Sea", the origin of worlds.

Stating that with his ability to manipulate gravity, he can use it to link this world to the Mother Sea, destroying the earth and demon realm but rebuilding it afterward as many new worlds will form in the aftermath. Feeling small fragments of Asagi's humanity still exist, he destroys them while he merges the world with the Mother Sea, destroying reality. After this, the world was recreated into multiple ZERO Universes as well as Online Universes because of Black's ability.

The new world born from this includes Vampire Asagi on his side. Murasaki and Sakura are seen hunting for something down below in the streets and eventually leave, while Asagi voices her love for Black and dislike for lesser beings. Four unidentified Taimanin notice her and start to pursue her, which leads Vampire Asagi to happily declare they will be dinner for tonight.

Timeline ZERO Vampire Asagi appears again in the ZERO Universe, seemingly only existing within Black's mind. Both can switch between one dominating body, having affected that new world by invading Koukawa Oboro (ZERO)'s body and manipulating events in the background. Wishing to make certain that Igawa Asagi (ZERO) might provide a good host body for Vampire Asagi, they hope for her corruption but not death.

After Igawa Asagi (ZERO) defeats Kaliya (ZERO) in the Chaos Arena, Oboro (ZERO) appeared and Asagi is able to feel Edwin Black's power. Black leaves the body but not before disabling a Murasaki that tries to pursue him, while a group of lesser Taimanin hunt after him, leaving Asagi, Sakura and Murasaki behind.

As Black flies through the night sky, it shows the same scene from Taimanin Asagi 3, with four Taimanin in pursuit and Vampire Asagi's declaration of dinner. Asagi switches into control of their body, while at least two of the Taimanin hunting them can be seen to be Houma Midori and Shinonome Nea.
