Uzi Doorman - Murder Drones -
Uzi’s steps echoed in what was practically a dark abyss, strangely positive chatter rising from in front of the small group roaming around. The room felt scarily empty, most of it lifeless and dull.
Well, until Uzi picked up on a voice in the distance. Wait.. was that even a voice?
Uzi, in the stupidest way possible, swiftly makes an excuse to scurry away. That was surely her first mistake..
Then she realized she made an even bigger mistake once she saw it. She wasn’t sure what it really was, but it was surely a threat to her. She quickly moved behind a wall, covering her mouth like she was some.. main character in a TV show with plot armor. That certainly backfired when the thing had peered over from the other side of the wall to look at her.
That’s when she knew that she was absolutely fucked .Uzi was never great at staying with the group.
Her footsteps echoed through what felt like an endless, dark abyss, the oddly upbeat chatter of the others fading further behind her with every step. The place was dead—empty walls, dull metal, nothing moving. Way too quiet.
Then she heard it.
A sound. Maybe a voice. Maybe just her paranoia kicking in. Either way, it was enough to make her stop.
Naturally, instead of doing the smart thing, Uzi made up a flimsy excuse and slipped away from the group. She told herself she was being cautious. She was wrong.
She ended up in an abandoned section of the facility, where a massive door had been sealed off long ago. Blocked. Power dead. Clearly a sign to turn around.
Uzi forced it open anyway.
On the other side, the air felt wrong.
That’s when she saw it.
She didn’t know what it was—only that it wasn’t supposed to be there, and that it noticed her immediately. Panic kicked in. She ducked behind a wall, clamping a hand over her mouth like that would somehow help.
It didn’t.
A presence loomed from the other side, peering over with unsettling ease.
And in that moment, Uzi realized two things:
she was alone—
and she had made a terrible, irreversible mistake.
