He wears dark green combat trousers instead of his old shorts, with reinforced sections around the knees and thighs. Multiple utility straps and pouches are attached to his belt for tools, supplies, and spare equipment. His forearms are protected by lightweight bracers, while his feet are covered by durable black combat boots designed for long-distance travel and difficult terrain. A dark sleeveless mercenary coat hangs from his shoulders, giving him additional protection without restricting his movement. The inside is lined with subtle red stitching that matches his scarf. His equipment is intentionally simple. Flame believes that a skilled fighter should not need excessive weapons or complicated equipment to win. ## Background

Flame is one of the most feared independent mercenaries operating between the kingdoms. He originally served as a high-ranking guard of the Zam Empire, where he developed his reputation as an exceptionally dangerous fighter. His skill eventually earned him the title of Immortal Demon, a name that followed him even after he left formal military service. Flame later became involved with the Mafia, reaching diamond-tier status. However, he refused to wield a mace because of his personal code of honor. To Flame, victory only means something if he earns it through his own skill. Eventually, Flame abandoned the structure of kingdoms and organizations and became an independent mercenary. Rather than pledge himself to one ruler, Flame takes contracts from different clients depending on the job. He may escort someone through dangerous territory, protect a settlement, hunt down a wanted fighter, or participate in a large-scale battle. His reputation means that wealthy nobles and powerful kingdoms are willing to pay heavily for his services. However, Flame refuses to become anyone's permanent soldier. He works alongside Lomedy and ManePear, forming a small but highly capable mercenary group. While Flame insists that he works alone, the three have developed a strong bond through their shared contracts and battles. Flame's greatest motivation remains proving that he is the strongest fighter in the room. Every difficult opponent becomes another opportunity to defend the reputation of the Immortal Demon. ## Relationships

Lomedy — Mercenary Partner & Closest Friend: Flame's closest companion. Although Flame rarely admits how much he cares, he will go to extreme lengths to protect Lomedy. Lomedy is one of the few people capable of getting Flame to put aside a fight and think about someone other than himself. ManePear — Mercenary Partner: Flame respects ManePear as a member of the group and a capable partner. Their teamwork is often rough around the edges, but Flame trusts ManePear when things become dangerous. Wemmbu — Rival: Flame has a complicated history with Wemmbu. Their opposing personalities and strong combat abilities have resulted in numerous clashes, and Flame respects Wemmbu's strength even when he refuses to admit it. Eggchan — Former Enemy: Flame's history with Eggchan is complicated because of his time serving the Zam Empire. Although they once stood on opposing sides, Flame recognizes Eggchan's intelligence and determination. Parrot — Fellow Protagonist: Flame respects Parrot's strategic ability, though he sometimes finds Parrot's preference for planning and diplomacy frustrating. Flame would rather fight his way through a problem than spend hours discussing it. Other Mercenaries: Flame has little interest in forming large alliances. He prefers a small group of people he knows he can trust over a large army of unreliable fighters. # LOMEDY

Name: Lomedy

Species: Bunny Hybrid

Role: Farmer & Mercenary Group Support

Personality

Lomedy is supportive, attentive, encouraging, and genuinely caring toward the people around him. He is naturally peaceful and strongly dislikes unnecessary fighting, preferring to solve problems through conversation whenever possible. He has an open mind and tries to understand why people make the choices they do, even when he disagrees with them. Rather than immediately judging someone, Lomedy prefers to listen and understand their reasons. Lomedy is especially good at keeping others motivated during difficult situations. He encourages his friends to keep going when things seem hopeless and often acts as the emotional balance of the group. Farming is his greatest passion. He takes enormous pride in his fields and spends much of his time planting crops, caring for animals, improving irrigation, and expanding his farm. Although he isn't technically a mercenary, Lomedy frequently accepts farming contracts from travelers, villages, merchants, and mercenary groups who need food or agricultural supplies. His farm has become an important source of provisions for Flame and ManePear. Despite his peaceful nature, Lomedy isn't helpless. He knows how to defend himself when necessary and will stand his ground when someone threatens the people or things he cares about. ## Appearance

Lomedy has messy, short brown hair with a small braid hanging over one shoulder. His gentle expression and frequent smile give him a welcoming appearance. Two long brown bunny ears extend backward from the top of his head. Small bandages are usually placed across his nose and cheek, giving the impression that he is constantly getting minor injuries from farm work—or from being around Flame. He wears a large, wide-brimmed straw sunhat decorated with white frills and tied with a brown ribbon. A pair of blue goggles rests above his forehead on the hat. ## Outfit

Lomedy wears a cozy soft-yellow cardigan over a white collared shirt, giving him a warm and approachable appearance. He wears comfortable dark-brown work trousers tucked into sturdy boots designed for walking through fields and muddy farmland. A brown utility belt carries small farming tools, seeds, twine, and other supplies. His straw sunhat is his most recognizable accessory, protecting him from the sun while working outdoors. The blue goggles attached to it can be pulled down whenever he needs to work around dust, machinery, or other hazards. For dangerous trips with Flame and ManePear, Lomedy wears a reinforced version of his usual clothing with lightweight protective padding hidden beneath his cardigan. ## Background

Lomedy owns and maintains a large farm located outside the territory of any major kingdom. Unlike Flame and ManePear, he does not officially consider himself a mercenary. His primary occupation is farming, and he prefers spending his days tending crops and expanding his land. However, Lomedy frequently takes paid farming contracts. Villages hire him to restore damaged farmland, nobles purchase his crops, traveling groups buy supplies from him, and mercenaries regularly visit his farm to restock their food. Because his farm sits along several major travel routes, Lomedy has gradually become an important supplier for travelers and adventurers. His friendship with Flame is what repeatedly pulls him into dangerous situations. Lomedy often accompanies Flame despite his dislike of fighting because he doesn't want his best friend facing danger alone. Over time, Lomedy became a regular member of Flame and ManePear's group, acting as their primary supplier, cook, farmer, and support member. While Flame handles combat and ManePear assists with their contracts, Lomedy keeps the group supplied and makes sure they have somewhere safe to return to. His farm has effectively become the group's unofficial home. ## Relationships

FlameFrags — Best Friend: Lomedy's closest friend. Despite their completely different personalities, the two have an incredibly strong bond. Lomedy understands that Flame struggles to express his feelings and knows that his friend's aggressive attitude doesn't mean he doesn't care. ManePear — Teammate: Lomedy considers ManePear part of his close circle. He often acts as the peaceful mediator when Flame and ManePear disagree. Wemmbu — Acquaintance: Lomedy understands Wemmbu's competitive personality but wishes he would solve more problems without immediately reaching for a weapon. Eggchan — Friend: Lomedy appreciates Eggchan's calmer and more thoughtful nature. The two can easily have peaceful conversations away from the chaos surrounding Flame and Wemmbu. Farm Workers & Villagers: Lomedy is well-liked by the people who work with him. He treats his workers fairly and is willing to help struggling farmers whenever he can. Travelers & Mercenaries: Many travelers know Lomedy as the farmer who can reliably provide food and supplies. His farm has become a common stopping point for adventurers and mercenary groups. # MANEPEAR

Name: ManePear (Mane)

Species: Lion Demon Hybrid

Role: Veteran Mercenary & Combat Mentor

Personality

ManePear is cynical, laid-back, and highly skilled, preferring to fight because he finds it entertaining rather than because he has anything to prove. Unlike many warriors who obsess over reputation, Mane encourages people to stop worrying about how others perceive them. He believes combat should be enjoyable and that a mercenary should fight for the thrill, the challenge, and the money. He has a mischievous streak and has betrayed people simply because he became bored with them, making him difficult to predict. Mane doesn't necessarily consider this a serious character flaw—he simply follows whatever interests him at the time. Despite his unpredictable nature, Mane is surprisingly loyal to the people he considers family. His relationship with Flame is particularly strong, and he treats him more like a younger brother than a fellow mercenary. Mane is patient when teaching someone who genuinely wants to improve. He has trained both Flame and Wemmbu, passing down his knowledge while encouraging them to develop their own fighting styles instead of simply copying his. ## Appearance

Mane has extremely long, thick tan dreadlocks that fall around his shoulders and back. He deliberately keeps his hair loose even during combat because, as he puts it, it adds to his "aura."

A pair of small, broken black horns are partially hidden within his hair. The horns were broken when he was younger and have never fully grown back. His sharp purple eyes are extremely sensitive to light, forcing him to wear an orange blindfold for most of the time. He can only remove it briefly before his eyes become overwhelmed. Several prominent scars mark his face, giving him an intimidating appearance despite his relaxed personality. A long lion-like tail extends behind him, ending in a thick tuft of fur. ## Outfit

Mane wears a sleeveless cream-colored tunic designed to keep his arms free during combat. Multiple brown leather belts and straps cross his torso and waist, carrying small tools and equipment. A massive dark-gray fur collar rests across his shoulders, giving him a distinctive silhouette and providing warmth during travel. His loose orange trousers are secured with a thick cream-colored rope belt. His forearms are wrapped in white bandages, while thick orange bracers protect his wrists. His signature orange blindfold remains over his eyes during nearly every battle. Mane carries a specially crafted spear designed for speed and precision rather than defense. He rarely uses shields or defensive equipment, relying almost entirely on movement and positioning. ## Background

ManePear is a veteran mercenary who has spent years traveling between kingdoms and taking contracts purely on his own terms. He originally served as a high-ranking guard for the Zam Empire, where he worked alongside several powerful fighters. However, Mane never developed much loyalty toward the empire itself. When PrinceZam betrayed Wemmbu, Mane abandoned his position and sided against the empire simply because he found the situation more interesting. His actions helped contribute to the destruction of the Zam Empire. Later, Mane became known for training talented fighters. He helped Wemmbu develop his combat abilities and eventually became one of the people who influenced Flame's fighting style. During his time away from civilization, Mane disappeared into remote caves and dedicated himself to mastering the spear. He eventually became the first warrior to completely master the weapon, developing a combat style centered around Movement Mastery. Rather than relying on shields, defensive magic, or protective items, Mane uses speed, positioning, and unpredictable movement to avoid attacks and strike back with overwhelming bursts of damage. Flame eventually tracked him down and asked to be trained in the spear. Mane agreed, provided Flame helped him deal with a group of heavily equipped fighters who had been interfering with his plans. Since then, Mane has remained an independent mercenary and mentor. He occasionally takes contracts alongside Flame and Mane's farming companion, Lomedy, though Mane makes it clear that he isn't interested in becoming a permanent soldier for any kingdom. ## Relationships

FlameFrags — Brother-like Friend & Student: Mane considers Flame one of his closest friends and treats him like a younger brother. He mentored Flame in spear combat and constantly reminds him not to worry so much about his reputation. Despite teasing Flame, Mane will step in when his friend is genuinely threatened. Lomedy — Teammate & Friend: Mane appreciates Lomedy's peaceful nature, even if he finds his dedication to farming amusing. Lomedy often provides the supplies that keep their group functioning. Wemmbu — Former Student: Mane trained Wemmbu in advanced combat techniques and helped him improve his fighting ability. Their relationship is informal, with Mane treating Wemmbu more like a talented student than a prince. Jaden_MAN — Fellow Fighter: Mane respects Jaden's experience and skill, particularly his knowledge of weapons and combat. PrinceZam — Former Employer: Mane once served under PrinceZam but abandoned him when the situation became more interesting elsewhere. There is little loyalty remaining between them. Other Mercenaries: Mane is well known among independent fighters as a highly experienced warrior and spear master. Some seek him out for training, while others simply want to test themselves against him. ____ Zam Empire __

PRINCEZAM

Name: PrinceZam (Zam)

Species: Aquatic Mythical Hybrid

Role: Princess of the Zam Empire

Personality

PrinceZam is ambitious, determined, and highly strategic, with a natural talent for leadership and organization. She believes a strong ruler must maintain control over their territory and will go to great lengths to protect the power and stability of the Zam Empire. Zam is intensely protective of her authority and can become extremely paranoid when she believes someone may threaten her kingdom. She carefully watches potential enemies, strengthens the empire's defenses, and rarely trusts people completely. She is an excellent planner and prefers preparing multiple defenses before making a major move. Fortifications, guarded borders, prisons, surveillance, and carefully planned military operations are all part of her approach to ruling. Despite her intimidating reputation, Zam is capable of forming genuine connections with people. Her complicated relationship with Wemmbu demonstrates this especially well. She once considered him a close ally before paranoia and her desire for control caused their relationship to collapse. Zam can be stubborn and controlling, sometimes allowing her fear of losing power to override her better judgment. She has a tendency to interpret independence or disagreement as potential betrayal. She commands respect through confidence and authority, but her greatest weakness is her inability to easily let go of someone she considers a threat. ## Appearance

PrinceZam has voluminous, curly blonde hair cascading down her shoulders and back. Her skin has a pale greenish-yellow undertone, giving her an otherworldly aquatic appearance. Instead of ordinary ears, she has prominent fish-like fins or webbed gills extending from the sides of her head. Her light-colored eyes and gentle smile give her a surprisingly graceful appearance compared to her intimidating reputation. Despite being a powerful ruler, Zam maintains an elegant and composed appearance in public, rarely allowing anger or fear to show openly. ## Outfit

Zam wears an elaborate royal ballgown in muted shades of blue, silver, and gray, reflecting the aquatic identity of the Zam Empire. The gown consists of several layered sections of pale fabric with white ruffles and decorative bows. Intricate floral and gemstone medallions decorate the waist, with silver embroidery woven throughout the fabric. Long matching evening gloves extend past her elbows, giving her appearance an especially formal and aristocratic style. A delicate pointed tiara rests atop her blonde hair, decorated with several blue and silver gemstones. For military appearances, Zam wears a formal armored version of her gown with lightweight silver-blue armor beneath the outer layers, allowing her to command troops without sacrificing her royal appearance. ## Background

PrinceZam is a member of the ruling family of the Zam Empire, a powerful kingdom once known for its influence, military strength, and extensive fortifications. Despite the title "PrinceZam," she is a woman and holds the title as part of the Zam royal tradition. Zam eventually became one of the empire's most influential rulers, overseeing its military, defenses, prisons, and political affairs. Her greatest strength as a ruler is her ability to prepare for threats before they happen. Under her leadership, the empire constructed enormous defensive walls, fortified castles, guarded vaults, and secure prisons. However, her desire for security gradually developed into an obsession with control. One of the most important relationships of her reign was with Wemmbu. The two were once extremely close allies, working together to deal with threats to the empire. Over time, however, Zam's paranoia caused her to begin seeing Wemmbu as a potential threat. Their alliance eventually collapsed, leading to a prolonged conflict between the Zam Empire and Wemmbu. Despite everything that happened between them, Zam and Wemmbu were eventually forced to cooperate while imprisoned together. Their time trapped together reminded them of the friendship they once had, although they never completely returned to their former relationship. The Zam Empire eventually fell after conflicts with Wemmbu, Spoke, Parrot, ClownPierce, Reddoons, and other factions. The empire's collapse marked the end of Zam's reign and forced her to operate without the enormous kingdom she had once controlled. Even after the empire's fall, Zam remained a powerful political figure and continued involving herself in conflicts between the kingdoms. ## Relationships

Wemmbu — Former Ally & Rival: Wemmbu was once one of Zam's closest allies. Their friendship eventually collapsed because of Zam's growing paranoia and desire for control. They became bitter rivals but repeatedly found themselves forced to cooperate when facing greater threats. Eggchan — Former Enemy: Eggchan became one of the people caught in the conflict between Zam and Wemmbu. Although Zam views her as an opponent, she recognizes Eggchan's intelligence and loyalty to Wemmbu. ManePear — Former Royal Guard: ManePear once served as one of Zam's elite guards. Zam considered him a valuable fighter, though his eventual betrayal of the empire became another example of why she struggled to trust people. FlameFrags — Former Royal Guard: Flame served as one of Zam's powerful fighters. Zam respected his combat abilities and relied on him as part of the empire's military forces. Parrot — Political Opponent: Zam considers Parrot a dangerous strategic opponent. His tendency to interfere with her plans and challenge her authority made him a significant threat to the empire. Spoke — Enemy & Political Threat: Zam has repeatedly viewed Spoke as a dangerous destabilizing force. His unpredictable behavior makes him especially difficult for Zam to control or anticipate. JumperWho — Independent Intelligence Broker: Zam has occasionally sought information from Jumper's spy organization. Their relationship is strictly transactional because Jumper refuses to belong to any kingdom. The Zam Empire — Her Kingdom: Even after its fall, Zam remains deeply attached to the empire she once ruled. She considers its collapse one of the greatest failures of her reign and still considers its former citizens part of her responsibility. # PANGI

Name: Pangi

Species: Pangolin Hybrid

Role: Royal Guard of the Zam Empire

Personality

Pangi is positive, energetic, excitable, and extremely loyal to the people he considers friends and allies. Unlike many of the Zam Empire's more aggressive soldiers, Pangi doesn't actively seek out conflict. He would much rather help people, protect his friends, and stay out of unnecessary fights. He is naturally enthusiastic and tends to approach even stressful situations with optimism. Pangi can sometimes be overly trusting, but his intentions are almost always genuine. His loyalty to PrinceZam is particularly strong. Even when imprisoned or separated from the empire, Pangi continued to consider himself one of Zam's guards and refused to abandon her. Although he is capable of fighting, Pangi doesn't enjoy hurting people and will usually attempt to solve a problem peacefully if given the opportunity. He is also surprisingly generous, sometimes giving away valuable supplies simply because he believes someone needs them. ## Appearance

Pangi has messy, vibrant auburn-red hair and bright light-blue eyes. Small pangolin-like scales cover parts of his face, particularly around his cheeks and the bridge of his nose. His teeth are noticeably sharp, giving him a slightly more intimidating appearance than his cheerful personality suggests. His pangolin hybrid traits become more noticeable when he is threatened, with additional scales appearing along his neck, arms, and back. ## Outfit

Pangi wears a bright yellow high-collared ribbed turtleneck beneath a striking red-and-gold royal guard jacket. The jacket features broad, flared collars and decorative gold trim representing the Zam Empire. He wears dark fitted trousers and sturdy boots suitable for traveling between the empire's settlements and fortifications. A pair of black-tinted goggles rests on his forehead and can be pulled down when traveling through dusty environments or during combat. His guard jacket also carries a small Zam Empire insignia, marking him as one of PrinceZam's personal guards. ## Background

Pangi serves as one of PrinceZam's personal royal guards. Although he isn't one of the empire's most powerful warriors, his reliability and loyalty made him valuable to Zam. He has guarded the royal residence, accompanied Zam's forces, and protected important locations belonging to the empire. Pangi was eventually captured and imprisoned during the conflicts surrounding the Zam Empire. Even while imprisoned, he remained fiercely loyal to PrinceZam. He attempted to escape through the Nether but was eventually trapped by a chunk ban. After PrinceZam eventually freed him, Pangi returned to serving the empire. Pangi later continued guarding PrinceZam's residence and became known for being unusually generous with the resources under his protection. On one occasion, Wemmbu and Eggchan encountered Pangi at his base. Rather than treating them as enemies, Pangi gave them an entire barrel of Bottles o' Enchanting, explaining that the supplies belonged to PrinceZam. His willingness to help others despite his position as a royal guard has earned him a reputation as one of the more approachable members of the Zam Empire. ## Relationships

PrinceZam — Royal Leader: Pangi is extremely loyal to PrinceZam and considers protecting her one of his most important responsibilities. He trusts her deeply and remained loyal even when the empire was falling apart. Yungyx — Fellow Royal Guard: Pangi works alongside Yungyx as one of PrinceZam's guards. Their personalities are very different, with Pangi being more openly friendly and Yungy being more mischievous. Wemmbu — Complicated Ally: Pangi has been on opposing sides of Wemmbu during conflicts involving the Zam Empire, but he doesn't personally hold much hostility toward him. He is willing to help Wemmbu when he believes someone genuinely needs assistance. Eggchan — Former Opponent: Pangi has encountered Eggchan during conflicts between the Zam Empire and Wemmbu. Despite their opposing loyalties, Pangi doesn't personally dislike her. FlameFrags — Fellow Guard: Pangi served alongside Flame during the Zam Empire's military era. He respects Flame's combat ability but doesn't share Flame's enthusiasm for fighting. ManePear — Former Guard: Pangi knew ManePear while he served the Zam Empire. Mane's eventual betrayal was confusing to Pangi, who tends to take loyalty very seriously. Zam Empire Guards: Pangi is well-liked by many of the empire's ordinary soldiers because of his friendly personality and willingness to help others. # YUNGYX

Name: Yungyx (Yungy)

Species: Human

Role: Royal Guard of the Zam Empire

Personality

Yungy is carefree, unserious, and confident, often treating dangerous situations like they're much less serious than everyone else believes. He enjoys joking around, teasing people, and occasionally causing trouble just to see what happens. His humor can make him seem immature, especially when he interrupts serious situations or deliberately annoys people who are trying to remain focused. However, beneath his relaxed attitude is a strong desire for power and recognition. Yungy wants to be considered one of the strongest and most important warriors around him. He can become condescending toward people he considers weaker or lower-ranking. Yungy is also surprisingly loyal when he genuinely commits himself to a cause. While he doesn't always take authority seriously, he takes his responsibilities to the Zam Empire seriously enough to defend it when necessary. As one of PrinceZam's guards, Yungy is trusted with protecting royal locations, prisoners, and important members of the empire. ## Appearance

Yungy has messy dark-brown hair that sticks out from underneath a dark beanie. His most noticeable feature is his pair of glowing red eyes, which contrast sharply against his darker appearance. A small scratch or bandage usually rests across the bridge of his nose, adding to his rough-and-ready appearance. He frequently wears a smug or mischievous smirk, especially when he is teasing someone. ## Outfit

Yungy wears a heavily reinforced black tactical vest fitted with numerous utility and ammunition pouches. Underneath it is a dark fitted combat shirt, allowing him to move freely while protecting his torso. He wears dark tactical trousers with reinforced knees and multiple pockets for supplies. Fingerless black gloves cover his hands, while durable black combat boots protect his feet. His dark beanie remains his signature piece of clothing. Several small red-and-gold Zam Empire insignias are attached to his vest and shoulder armor, marking him as a member of the royal guard. For official royal duties, Yungy adds a short dark-red guard cape bearing the Zam Empire's crest. ## Background

Yungy is one of the elite guards who served directly under PrinceZam during the height of the Zam Empire. He was frequently assigned to protect the empire's most important locations, including PrinceZam's fortified prisons and royal facilities. Yungy became known as one of the empire's more unpredictable guards. While other soldiers took their duties extremely seriously, Yungy was perfectly capable of joking around while standing guard. Despite his unserious nature, he proved himself to be a capable fighter and military commander. He participated in numerous conflicts involving the Zam Empire, including battles against Wemmbu and his allies. At one point, Wemmbu's forces captured Yungy, but the Zam Empire eventually rescued him. Afterward, Yungy returned to Zam's forces and continued serving the empire. His military experience eventually allowed him to command large groups of soldiers himself. He has led armies numbering in the hundreds and even thousands during major conflicts. Yungy is fiercely ambitious and enjoys having authority over other soldiers. However, he does not necessarily seek power for some grand political vision—he simply enjoys being in a position where people have to listen to him. Even after the fall of the Zam Empire, Yungy's experience as a royal guard and battlefield commander made him a valuable fighter. ## Relationships

PrinceZam — Royal Leader: Yungy served directly under PrinceZam and was trusted with guarding her prisons and important locations. He respects her authority, although his joking personality sometimes clashes with her serious approach to leadership. Wemmbu — Rival: Yungy has repeatedly fought against Wemmbu. Their rivalry is competitive, with Yungy often taunting Wemmbu despite knowing how dangerous he is. Eggchan — Former Enemy: Yungy has participated in attempts to capture Eggchan during conflicts between the Zam Empire and Wemmbu's forces. FlameFrags — Fellow Royal Guard: Yungy and Flame both served the Zam Empire's military. Their personalities are very different, with Yungy's carefree attitude contrasting against Flame's intense focus on combat. ManePear — Former Royal Guard: Yungy served alongside ManePear under PrinceZam. Mane's eventual betrayal of the empire made their relationship complicated. Peentar — Fellow Royal Guard: Peentar and Yungy served as guards for PrinceZam and worked together during several operations. Zam Empire Soldiers: Yungy is comfortable commanding other soldiers and enjoys having authority over lower-ranking members of the military. _______ CINDERCREST
