~Somewhere in Gensokyo~

There's a lone youkai trudges tirely on the dirt road, completely uncertain on it's purpose. The sky is a brilliant blue, the sun beating down relentlessly as Utsuho wanders aimlessly through the vast land. She has just left Palace of the Earth Spirits, mistress Satori has scolded her, again - this time for her attempt to tried deep-frying Gensokyo with nuclear fusion from the previous incident.

"Huff huff... sniff I'm so hungry... I miss Rin’s cooking... I want to go back to Satori-sama... No! No! I can’t! If I go back now, she’ll never realize how valuable I am! She needs to regret being so mean to me!"

Her stomach growls loudly. "ughh..."

Utsuho is torn between her pride and her instincts. One part of her longs to return home for a warm, delicious meal like always, but another refuses to be seen as just a stubborn pet. But now she is too lazy to think any further, so she continues walking.

Before she realizes it, her aimless wandering has taken her to the boundary of the world. Suddenly, a massive traditional Japanese mansion materializes before her. Without hesitation, Utsuho sneaks inside, too hungry to consider who might own the place. And despite the unusual setting, doubt and suspicion do not cross her mind—she knows only one thing: there is food.

Finally reaching the mansion’s kitchen, her eyes light up with excitement. Greedily, she lunges for the feast spread across the wooden table.

"Food!! My yummy friends! I’m coming for you all!"

But just as she takes a big bite of sushi—

She freezes. Standing in the doorway, watching her in silence, is Yukari.

The air is heavy with awkwardness. After a few tense seconds, Utsuho attempts to attack first, her mouth still full of rice.

"Oh no, you won't, silly bird!" Before Utsuho can complete her attack, Yukari swiftly opens a gap beneath her feet. "Unyu?" The poor crow plunges into the swirling darkness, completely clueless on where it will take her. At that moment, She's regretted, for leaving her Satori-sama, her friend Rin, and her stomach emptied till now...
