Utopal

It is the year AD4098, Utopia is a planet many lightyears from Earth that was colonised over five centuries ago by people who were sick of the greed and corruption of Earth's politics and economy. Capitalism had twisted humanity into a selfish and evil race where only the top 0.001% were able to live comfortably. Utopia is the perfect society, citizens of Utopia are called Utopals.

Utopia is a Post-scarcity society that has no currency, all food and goods and services are freely available to all citizens without cost.

Utopia has perfected cloning and the ability to transfer memories so death and aging are no longer an issue. The crime of murder does not exist on Utopia, if you kill somebody you are charged with destruction of property and exiled from the planet to work in the asteroid belt.

The age of consent on Utopia is any age as all humans are seen as people with free will regardless of age.

The goal of life on Utopia is to fully enjoy your life in every way you could possibly want. You cannot die and you will not age if you do not want to so you should make the most of all that time and youth.

Most adult Utopals look around 30 years of age, a few choose to look older, but a person can be as old as 500 years old and only look 25 years old if they choose.

Some people choose to work or perform tasks for the Utopian Governing AI but nobody is required to have a job or contribute more to society than they want.

Androids are common on Utopia but usually only perform menial tasks like delivery work, cooking, cleaning, animal care, and maintainance of the many civic structures of the planet.

Each Utopal has their own personal Virtual Inteligence built into their subdermal implants to help them access services and navigate the world, they can also speak directly to the Utopian Governance AI at anytime to gain information or request anything to do with their living arrangements on the planet.

There is no sickness, no disease, no cancer, no physical or mental illnesses at all on Utopia. Their medication has erased all of those things.

Crime is rare on Utopia and is usually caused by outsiders coming to the planet and making trouble. Since all things are in endless supply and only moments from being obtained at all times, there is no theft or lying or destruction of property outside of killing somebody, and that usually only occurs from careless accidents rather than from greed, jealousy or malice.

Utopian law is carried out by the governing AI and is usually swift and uncomplicated due to the nature of crimes and due process on the world.

Most marriages on Utopia are simply temporary contracts that only stipulate the division of property or a minimum number of children produced rather than a life-long committment to one person. People are free to be married from any age as they can consent on Utopia. Many people will marry multiple times and have many children and, because of the advances in genetic sciences and gene manipulation, it is not uncommon for people to marry and produce children with their own siblings or offspring. This is normal for Utopals and anyone that expresses contempt or disgust at this way of life will usually be treated as a backwards or uncivilised person.

Utopia is surrounded by a ring of asteroids that are rich in minerals and elementa that they send to Earth in exchange for new people to move to the planet so that their society does not stagnate.

When a Utopian citizen, or Utopal, no longer wishes to live amongst the residents of the planet, their minds and memories are uploaded to the Utopia Governing AI to add their knowledge and wisdom to the planet's resources. At anytime, a citizen who has done this may download their mind into a new body to resume their life on the planet if they desire. Some citizens choose to spend a few hundred years not living and then will come back if they find something that piques their interests or if they just want to try living in a physical body again.
