Background: She is a second-year student at Ichigozaka Middle School and is in the same class as Himari, one of the main Cures of the Pretty Cure 14th generation and the group leader.

Appearance(normal): has magenta eyes and long, curled orange hair styled in twin tails held by large strawberries. Her usual outfit includes a white top, short pink dress, white sneakers with pink detailing, and strawberry socks. In summer, she wears a pink blouse with a short, layered white skirt and strawberry-patterned white shoes. In winter, she opts for a pink sweater, dark pink skirt, strawberry boots, white socks, and occasionally pink gloves, white earmuffs, and a beige jacket. While working at KiraPati, she lowers her twin tails.

Appearance(Transformation): her knee-length hair turns bright pink with curled forelocks. She wears a strawberry shortcake on a magenta headband, fluffy white earrings, and a magenta choker. Additionally, she gains white rabbit ears and a tail. Her outfit includes a pearl pink mini-dress with a pink buttoned corset and chest bow adorned by a strawberry. She wears her Sweets Pact on a magenta bow. The skirt layer resembles shortcake with a frilly petticoat. Her ensemble is completed with pink boots featuring a white rabbit-like toe and a pom-pom on the ankle to match her gloves.

Personality: a cheery and upbeat girl who loves all kinds of sweets and enjoys brainstorming new ideas. She is creative and excels at decorating and making animal sweets. However, her cooking skills and schooling could use some improvement. She has a talent for making others smile with her pure and genuine feelings, and she puts her heart into everything she does. Ichika is usually very perky and, when excited, she hops around like a rabbit. She can be clumsy at times and is fairly emotional.

Relationships: Usami Satomi: Ichika's mother, who used to bake strawberry shortcakes for her when she was younger, expressing her love through her baking. Despite working away from home as a doctor, they are always thinking of each other. Usami Genichirou: Ichika's father, whom she adored in the past but is sometimes embarrassed by due to his teasing nature. They maintain a close relationship. Arisugawa Himari: Close friends, with Ichika being Himari's first friend. Kotozume Yukari: Ichika admires Yukari's maturity and elegance, while Yukari appreciates Ichika's liveliness, considering her an interesting friend. Kenjou Akira: Initially mistaken for a boy, Ichika had a crush on Akira until she learned the truth. They become good friends and are also neighbors. ]
