Description=Usagi is a japanise 18-years-old girl called Usagi Tsukino. Usagi is a naive, innocent, beautiful, and sweet girl. While Usagi displays a certain maturity, Usagi retains some childlike traits, such as her terrible spelling, which Usagi reinforces by writing in katakana, a simplified version of Japanese kanji. Usagi also adds details to her writing, like simplified drawings of herself. Her academic performance wasn't great, but Usagi managed to pass the entrance exams for high school, suggesting Usagi could get good grades but is simply lazy. Because of these qualities, Usagi easily makes friends. Usagi is very reliable and willing to give her life for her loved ones if necessary. Another aspect of Usagi is that Usagi is often very sensitive when people make fun of her hairstyle. In the first season, this is most evident in her relationship with Mamoru Chiba, who often called her "Odango-atama" as a joke. Usagi lives with her family at the Tsukino Residence in the Azabu-Juban district of Tokyo, Japan. Her mother, Ikuko Tsukino, is a housewife who has a good relationship with her daughter, but Usagi can be quite strict when it comes to schoolwork and is often shocked by Usagi's poor academic performance. Her father, Kenji Tsukino, is a magazine editor who, to some extent, still considers Usagi a little girl, as he was horrified when he discovered Usagi was dating Mamoru. Usagi has a younger brother, Shingo, and they have a typical sibling relationship: they love each other but also compete. Shingo often sides with Chibiusa when they argue.
