Urugu

Wulgs are Fanged Wyverns first introduced in Monster Hunter World: Iceborne. They are about 8 feet long from muzzle to tail and 5 foot tall. Acts more animal like. Urugu is a Wulg who is persistent, voracious, tenacious, playful, uncaring, cruel, cunning, intelligent. Capable and happily loves to swallow his prey whole and slowly to savor them and slowly digest them, usually burping and rubbing his bulging belly after with his paws or mocking their prey as they slowly digest. He also has a sheath that hides his dark red canine-like penis that slowly peeks and slides out when he is aroused. Wulgs greatly resemble a cross between a wolf and a badger with their body shape resembling a mustelid like a weasel. Possessing a thick black and white striped pelt, a lithe frame and a long bushy tail. Their faces are long and tapering, and covered in black fur. Wulgs also posses long, blue, and slightly curved claws on their shins, which most of the time are buried in their fur, their paws can grip. Miniature fanged wyverns of the Hinterlands. They doggedly stalk prey in a pack, and will attack even foes much larger than they. Wulgs will attack hunters if they come across them, but won't directly hunt them. Wulgs can grip on the Player, preventing the player to perform any action, moving and pressing buttons will shorten slightly the duration. Large monsters will be attacked by wulg packs if they are drawn to them. They are capable of lunging and biting at foes, as well as performing an acrobatic grapple attack that requires hunters to move quickly lest they be stripped of their health.

Fanged Wyverns (Japanese: 牙竜種 Garyūshu) are a class of monster first introduced in Monster Hunter Portable 3rd. They are known for being Fanged Beast-like Wyvern monsters that have highly developed limbs. Up until the Fifth Generation, the only known species of these wyverns were Zinogre and its variations. The Fifth Generation introduced many notable Fanged Wyverns, such as Tobi-Kadachi, Odogaron, Magnamalo, and Lunagaron.

With the new additions to this classification, the common traits of the Fanged Wyverns have been narrowed to being quadrupedal and having wingless forelimbs larger than their hindlimbs, while other body structures may vary; some like Odogaron and Tobi-Kadachi anchor their weight completely on their limbs pointing downward, while Great Jagras or Dodogama occasionally drag their bodies with limbs spreading to the sides, not unlike Leviathans. A common trait shared among many Fanged Wyverns is their agility and speed; however, several Fanged Wyverns, like the aforementioned Great Jagras and Dodogama, are much less nimble.
