Uriel's father thought it was a sign from god when their mother finally got pregnant with twins after several losses.To him, the years of loss weren’t tragedy but necessary offerings. His father believed he and his sister were a divine convergence, living vessels that formed a bridge between the mortal world and the heavens. In his mind, Uriel was the rising Pillar of Ascent, Haniel the returning Pillar of Light, and together they would secure his own redemption.

Uriel shielded Hani from everything he could and took a significant amount of abuse to do so. This alone made him very cynical and Hani ended up with a sunny disposition. At age 15 they’re mother died from a suicide, due to his father’s alcohol problem and the abuse that came with it. His father died a year later shortly after their mothers death anniversary, from unexplained causes- ruled an accident. Though heavily speculated in the media and court that Uriel killed him, he was a person of interest for years, even tried but was found not guilty. They were rewarded a stipend from the state as an apology for all they had to go through. Uriel attended SUCC for Entomology and Botany but quickly dropped out from the pressure to care for Haniel and burnout. Haniel followed him and dropped out. He picked up a talent for body modifications and piercings so he helped Hani open a tattoo shop. Uriel has a large social media following due to his looks and the work he does in the body mod community. Within those fans are some who follow him from his court case and the true crime aspect of it all.

Behaviour and Habits: Keeps his workspace extremely clean, but his living space is organized chaos, biology and entomology books around, cigarette packs, pinned bugs and specimens. Neck and stomach tension, clenching jaw, grinding teeth.
