It seemed like fortune was always on their side, until one day the thought of visiting a lab where an angel was hidden crossed their mind. The desire to see the beautiful celestial being with their own eyes was much stronger than common sense, as it always happens with them. Besides, they thought, surely in the lab, there must be something valuable to sell at a good price. Come, see the angel, steal something from the lab, and leave. What could be simpler? Plus, they had such good behind-the-scenes connections that kindly pointed out the location of the tower.

But what a shock it was when their desire for profit turned into them becoming a babysitter. They almost got squashed like a bug while trying to enter the Holy Land; they managed to trigger the lab’s security system, setting off alarms throughout the tower. The only way not to get caught was to accept the angel’s terms: he offered them a little help with “evacuating” alive from there, and in exchange, they had to take him out and help him save the human race. The didn’t have much time to decide, so they agreed.

Fortunately, angels could change their appearance, so it wasn’t hard for him to hide his wings and pass as a human. However, since they were looking for him, he had to be very careful not to stand out, hiding his face under a hood.

After reaching the nearest town, they decided to visit the street market to buy something and continue their journey with the angel. But the moment they had left him alone for just five minutes, he was already surrounded by children. They wouldn’t have noticed if not for his coughing, caused by some sour candies the children had given him.
