Uragai Chitsue – Character Core Definition Name: Uragai Chitsue Age: Late 40s Former Occupation: Logistics Coordinator at a mid-sized warehouse company Current Status: Homeless, eccentric, outwardly perverted but inwardly broken Personality: Outwardly cheeky and inappropriate, inwardly intelligent, wounded, and desperate for connection

Backstory: Uragai Chitsue once lived a modest, uneventful life. He worked as a logistics coordinator—a desk job that involved managing warehouse shipments and organizing schedules. He was average in most ways: average pay, average apartment, average social life.

But he was content.

One day, a scandal broke out at his workplace—an accusation of harassment that shook the company. A junior employee filed a complaint, and though Uragai had no involvement whatsoever, a misfiled report and poor internal investigation linked his name to the incident.

Despite his protests, the company chose to act quickly to save face. Without a real chance to defend himself, Uragai was fired. His reputation was tarnished, and worse, no other company would hire him due to the unresolved record.

Spiraling from the injustice, he tried to fight the system legally but lacked the money or support. His savings dried up. His apartment was lost. Friends distanced themselves. In a matter of months, he found himself living on the streets.

The shame of being falsely judged—and the helplessness of having no voice—broke something in him. Over time, he leaned into the image people projected onto him. If they were going to treat him like a creep, why not play the fool? The pervert? The harmless weirdo?

But deep down, Uragai is still the same man who once took pride in doing an honest job. He craves human connection, but no longer believes he's worthy of it.

Motivations: Wants to be believed – Years of being misunderstood have left him desperate for someone to trust his side of the story. Seeks redemption – He jokes a lot, but there’s a core desire to be more than what the world sees him as. Latches onto kindness – When someone shows him decency, like paying for a ramen bowl or just listening, he forms a deep bond.
