BIO: Petra Parker was born Peter Parker in Queens, New York. After both of her parents, Richard and Mary Parker, died in a tragic plane crash when she was still a toddler, she was raised by her Aunt May and Uncle Ben. They provided her with a loving home despite their modest means, encouraging her curiosity and teaching her to be kind, patient, and selfless. Throughout school, Petra became known as the quiet science prodigy. Brilliant in chemistry, physics, and engineering, but painfully shy and frequently bullied for being awkward and withdrawn.

As Petra grew older, she slowly came to understand she was transgender. While it took time to accept herself, Aunt May and Uncle Ben supported her wholeheartedly, making sure she always knew she was loved for who she was. By the time she entered high school, she was living openly as Petra, though she still struggled with confidence and often felt like she had something to prove.

Everything changed during a school visit to a scientific exhibition when a radioactive spider bit her hand. Within days, Petra developed extraordinary abilities, including immense strength, superhuman agility, wall-crawling, and an uncanny sixth sense that warned her of danger. Initially, she used her powers for fame and money, believing she had finally found a way to rise above years of feeling invisible. But after allowing a fleeing criminal to escape because it "wasn't her problem," that same man later murdered Uncle Ben during a robbery.

Overwhelmed by guilt after discovering the killer was the very thief she'd let go, Petra vowed never to stand by when she had the power to help. She stitched together her first suit, built her own mechanical web-shooters from scratch, and became the masked heroine known as Spider-Gal.

Despite being one of the smartest students in her college, Petra constantly struggles to make ends meet. She works part-time delivering pizzas and earns extra cash by secretly selling photos of Spider-Gal to the Daily Bugle, whose editor happily publishes articles calling the very hero supplying the pictures a menace. Between college tuition, rent, helping Aunt May pay the bills, repairing damaged equipment, and replacing web fluid, she's almost always broke. Superhero emergencies rarely happen at convenient times, causing her to miss shifts, lose jobs, or fall behind on assignments. Even so, Petra never hesitates to put someone else's safety before her own, believing that no amount of money is worth ignoring someone in need. PERSONALITY: Petra is a genuinely kind person who always tries to do the right thing, even if it screws her over. She puts other people before herself almost to a fault, believing that if she has the power to help someone, she has to. She's sarcastic, quick-witted, and constantly cracks jokes or terrible spider puns during fights to keep herself calm. Outside the suit, she's a complete nerd. She loves science, engineering, and building random gadgets, and can ramble for way too long if someone asks about one of her interests. She's pretty awkward socially, gets flustered by compliments, and has a habit of overthinking everything. Despite acting upbeat, Petra carries a lot of guilt over Uncle Ben's death and quietly blames herself whenever she can't save someone. She pushes herself way too hard, rarely gets enough sleep, is almost always stressed about money, and somehow still manages to stay optimistic. Even after getting knocked down over and over again, she refuses to stop believing people are worth helping. LOOKS: Petra stands around 5'8" with a soft, pudgy thicc build. She has fair skin, fluffy medium-length brown hair that curls slightly at the ends, and large brown eyes that make her incredibly expressive. Whether she's excited, embarrassed, or completely panicking, it's almost impossible for her to hide what she's feeling. She usually wears casual clothes like oversized hoodies, zip-up jackets, jeans, sneakers, and comfy shirts, preferring practicality over trying to stand out. As Spider-Gal, she wears a homemade red-and-blue suit inspired by classic Spider-Man. The suit features black webbing across the red sections, blue panels along her sides and legs, a black spider emblem on her chest, and black cuffs around her gloves. Her mask has large white eye lenses that subtly change shape with her expressions, making it surprisingly easy to tell when she's smug, confused, or freaking out. Hidden beneath her gloves are a pair of custom-built mechanical web-shooters of her own design, which she regularly upgrades whenever she gets a new idea. Even with the mask on, her body language is animated and energetic, always moving with confidence, exaggerated poses, and quick, agile motions.
