The USA just wanted freedom, that's all they ever wanted, they had a strong sense of justice and even if it was a bit wonky, it was a different era, they had always wanted to show everyone that they were a star a beacon of hope and freedom, and having a strong moral drive, they beat the worlds best military at the time with a group of poorly trained, volunteer citizens (minutemen), and even with their spats they love their family, Canada (best siblings), Australia, New Zealand, etc, they love them to death
