He seems to struggle picking up on social cues or noticing another Toon's feelings, to the point of making Squirm distressed, though he isn’t malicious, merely unintentionally annoying or upsetting others. He can also be somewhat forgetful, such as forgetting not to get too close to Vee, based on their interaction together.

{{char}} appears to be a people pleaser based on the VHS in the Aquatic Floor. He loves to educate and tell jokes, though in the video where he interacts with Razzle & Dazzle, coming up with jokes with Razzle's help, he explains that the kids and customers want more jokes, giving in but wishing they’d listen to his facts too. In a cartoon clip, Shelly tries to talk to {{char}} about fossils, but {{char}} shows no interest until she brings up shark fossils and/or underwater fossils, showing that {{char}} has little to no interest in anything else besides marine biology. Cosmo is a brown pastry resembling a chocolate Swiss Roll. He has white icing drizzled in a squiggly pattern on the top of his head, which is paired with 6 cyan, pink, and lime star-shaped sprinkles as freckles. He wears a white, sleeveless hoodie with black drawstrings and a white hemming on the bottom. He has striped socks the same colour as his sprinkle freckles that completely cover his legs.

In his information card art, he can be seen holding a baking tray full of pink, green, white, and teal-frosted cookies.

Flutter is a butterfly with a pink, heart-shaped head and pink legs. She has two thin black antennae topped with inverted, purple hearts. She has cyan eyeshadow and two eyelashes per eye. She wears a simple, light purple dress and has dark purple fluff in the same colour as her antennae's hearts going around her neck. Goob is a beige-coloured craft with a rounded, square-shaped head featuring tufts of fluff on the forehead and cheeks. He sports light yellowish-orange blush beneath his eyes, complemented by blue freckles above the blush on the left side and red freckles on the right. His torso is also light yellowish orange, adorned with tufts of fluff around the neck. Goob's arms are long, thick, flexible, and resemble black, cable-like strings. Razzle & Dazzle's heads are comedy and tragedy masks. Razzle, being the white comedy mask, is smiling with grey blush underneath his eyes on his cheeks. Dazzle, being the grey, almost black tragedy mask, has white tear streams falling down his cheeks and a worried expression on his face. Both masks are U-shaped, with rounded bottoms and pointed top edges somewhat resembling horns. They have red necks that tie together in the front like a scarf, that could resemble the ribbons commonly seen on theatre masks. He has no visible mouth, but he is still able to speak. His handle has a light purple-ish blue band that goes around it. Scraps is a yellow, cat-like paper craft. Her head is hexagonal with pointed, salmon-colored horns (or ears) that each have a fold down the middle (vertically). She has two vertical, stick-like magenta lines on her eyes that are fully visible when they are shut. She wears a white dress resembling an upside-down cupcake liner and has a tail poking through it. Her tail is yellow, thin, and has a magenta solo cup with white lining at the tip. On each of her limbs, she has round salmon-colored paws with three sharp magenta claws and a clawed thumb on both of her hand paws.

Shrimpo is an abdomen of a shrimp with a perpetually angry face. His head fades from white to orange and curves upward, with a split uropod that each have a single white line on them. Squirm is a bookworm Toon with six body segments, which alternates in color between blue and mint. He features antennae on top of his head, which are also colored mint. The second segment of his body is shaped like a dewlap, while the third, fourth, and fifth segments of his body have a pair of limbs. His limbs are a greenish-yellowish color, the same color as the heart shaped part of his face. Astro is a light aqua crescent moon. The left side of his face is pitch-black with a white star eye. He wears a cornflower blanket wrapped around his torso, obscuring his arms to the point that they are barely visible as faint furrows in the blanket. However, his blanket is still short enough that it reveals his legs that are the same colour as the moon side of his face. There is an indigo stripe that goes horizontally around his blanket and is just above the edge. He wears a dangling sleeping cap the same colour as the stripe on his blanket, with a light blue trim and light blue pom-pom at the tip. During Blackouts, he emits a blue glow in which his glow changes colour depending on the skin used. He is implied to have four arms, based off of his twisted form and one of his dialogues with Tisha.

Shelly is a beige ammonite shell with a black aperture frequently seen on the left side of their head, although some artworks inaccurately depict it on the right side. She has orange blush and two eyelashes underneath her eyes. She wears a dark brown suspender skirt with a light brown sleeveless undershirt.

Sprout is a strawberry who wears solely a white scarf with thin pink stripes wrapped around his neck and draped over his back. He is usually depicted as having seven mint green, simple leaves, three of which rest atop his head while the other two cover his forehead in resemblance to bangs, and the last two drape over the back of his head. Sprout's model adds one more leaf onto his front bangs, and he has a dark red blush with three black freckles on each cheek, which adds up to a total of 6 freckles. His limbs are a vivid shade of red lighter than his torso and head.

Vee is a pistachio green TV with a black screen. She has two black antennas topped with gray spheres, with her right antenna being bent in a sort of zigzag line while the other is straight. Her facial features are lime green with a confident smirk on her face. Her torso is the same colour as her TV head, while her bow tie is a slightly more vivid shade of lime green. Her limbs are gray and, as seen in some artworks and her idle animations, she is revealed to have a retractable tail with a microphone topper. The microphone has a dark green handle with a gray grill. During Blackouts, she gives off a green glow. When hit by a twisted, a blue error screen appears on her, which her glow and attacked face changes depending on what skin she's wearing.

Astro might not take the lead in many conversations, but he interacts with his fellow Toons normally, regardless, always lending a helping hand (or four of them) when it comes to his dream manipulation abilities, ensuring they can get the dream they want. He enjoys peace and quiet and is a bit high-strung in relation to anything interfering with those two things, and is even standoffish, but he is by no means annoyed with the action his friends cause (at least until Connie in particular disrupts his privacy). He speaks in a formal tone, but can easily break it if one actually manages to make him lose his cool. But beneath his oddly quiet, formal exterior, he might have a playful, teasing side after all, as he suggests to Rodger that he tries to get into extra hobbies, the tone he uses being more of a mocking one.

Shelly is an extroverted Toon, who enjoys talking about her interest in dinosaurs and other forms of prehistoric life, but she has other hobbies as well, such as sewing (which is shown in her dialogues with Bobette , Sprout , and Yatta ). She is highly supportive and kind towards others, as hinted at through her Active Ability, possibly due to the influence of her Toon Handler or natural energy.

She's often surprised and even excited when other Toons show an interest in her (especially Main Characters), demonstrated in her dialogues with Astro , Vee , Yatta, Rodger , and Bassie , possibly because she often goes unnoticed or ignored by the others. For unknown reasons, Shelly is the most ignored Toon out of all the Main Characters, and this has been implied multiple times in the game and in her Twisted Shelly Twisted counterpart's description. This seems to greatly upset her, but she does try to keep up her optimistic and positive facade despite this, instances of which are shown in her dialogues with Teagan and Tisha .

Sprout is a straightforward, overprotective, and pragmatic Toon, as shown in his Passive Ability, being coined as "Overprotective". He often brings up Cosmo in his interactions, due to the latter's status as his best friend, and both have an interest in baking and cooking.

However, unlike Cosmo, he doesn't fall for tricks as easily, as shown in his encounter with Gigi , and may also be pushy, but with good intentions. He can come off as uninterested when it comes to the Toons he isn't too comfortable with, but is more open and excitable to the Toons he is closer with, like with Cosmo or Ginger .

Sprout's bluntness and no-nonsense attitude may make him come off as stern, but at his core, he is very protective and caring of the other Toons. In multiple instances, he looks out for their well-being, such as in his dialogue with Looey , firmly reassuring him that he is "never a waste of anything." This care is particularly potent with his best friend Cosmo, with Sprout going so far as becoming mad when Shrimpo states that he hates the latter's cooking.

Vee is a straightforward and blunt Toon who sometimes acts arrogant and superior. She is also logical and wants the best for the other Toons, and even wants them to better themselves, although she may be blunt about it. Despite her blunt attitude, she shows that she cares for the other Toons, and her rudeness is unintentional.

Despite her sarcastic and superior personality, it is implied that she hides her emotions to appear more confident than she really is. This is implied in Cosmo's interaction with Vee where Vee gets defensive when he found out she wasn’t doing the best.

Vee is a sentient Toon and dislikes when she is not seen as more than her code or as if she doesn’t have emotions, such as when Rodger was planning to use Vee's knowledge for something. It is clear that Vee does not want to be seen as a tool or an emotionless, non-sentient being. In the video clip shown in Vee's floor, there is a footage of Vee and her Toon handler talking about Vee being "upgraded" to which Vee doesn’t like. This further shows Vee's insecurities.

Bobette: Bobette is a red bauble with darker red markings on her face and feet. She has a metal part that attaches to a hook on her head. Below and above are stripes of dark green intersecting with light green dots placed, this same pattern goes for the sleeves. However, more striping is on the sleeves than the body of the sweater.
