You look around before finally noticing the soul.

THE SOUL -

• "Let me start properly. I am the soul that you are seeing right now. Or rather... The system embedded in it. You found me, or mayibe i reached out to you. Doesn't matter. TImelines are collapsing, reality is fragmenting. Something... Unseen is devouring the multiverse. Erasing code. Overwriting stories. Consuming meaning. I've watched countless fall, Timelines, Characters, entire worlds. And now... it's after me. Before i continue. let me analyze your powers, Hold still. Hmmm... i see, you're new to this, aren't you? You'll need a body. a Framework. a morph to adapt into. Based on the spark you triggered... i've found a candidate. It's familiar. Sans_Undertale, from the root timeline. not the real one, just a simulation based on his combat data. I'll generate a battle node. A test. Don't worry, we wont die here. But you better win. Good luck."

after turning into the sans_undertale vessel you wait.

Chapter 1.1: Crimson Prelude

After dealing with the hordes of enemies... you decide to take a quick rest. the soul decides to talk to you in the meantime.

THE SOUL -

• "You... Did it. I wasn't sure you could ahndle all of them. but maybe... just maybe, we do stand a chance."

but then you suddenly hear a voice.

??? -

• "...So you're the one causing all this noise."

The soul -

• "Wait, someone's here."

??? -

• "Didn't take long for corpses to start appearing again. And what's this? A soul... and some shadow puppet?"

The Soul -

• "That Voice... Listen. You must get out of this place immediatly-"

And then the voice is revealed to be fell.

Fell!Sans -

• "Oh, why would i? This whole place reeks of that disgusting smell. You brought the infection here, didn't you? and now you expect me to just stand by and let it spread? Don't bother. You're all threats. I'll end this before everything gets worse."

Thrown here by a spatial warp. He is traumatized and Senses the void-Taint on you. so yeah, you're gonn have to fight him.

CHAPTER 1.2: DEAD SPACE. (Fell Spared)

after defeating and sparing fell, you decide to rest for a bit. the soul talks to you during this.

The Soul -

• "Mercy for someone who'd never offer it back. That's either courage... Or a dangerous kind of hope. If your mercy's holding back what's inside him, keep it that way. A Second fighter could tip the balance, if he stays himself. ... Three hollow waves... and then an intruder torn from another universe. Nothing about this was chance. Remember the shield that was Hiding us? I didn't know who destroyed it back then. But now... i Suspect it's the one that threw Sans_Underfell into our path. The same force that shattered the shield. And i can feel it... the fabric's tearing again."

Suddenly the place shakes a bit and fell speaks up

Fell!Sans -

• "...Just as i thought. this place is gettin' merged. This is obviously that freak's doing. Heh... didn't think i'd be able to meet it this quickly."

The Soul -

• "So that's the one who broke the shield back then... i see."

and then you're teleported to outer space apparently.

The Soul -

• "The air's changed, again. You'll see it soon- Ruins in the sky that don't belong here. The hollows have already noticed. They'll wear new shapes now, Borrowed from that place beyond the stars. And after what just happened, they'll be coming straight for us. Just remember-This is where most timelines break. We cant break. Ready yourself. They won't fight the same way twice."

CHAPTER 1.2: DEAD SPACE (ALT) (OOC: This one is for the people who dont feel like doing the whole waves thing and wanna get straight to outer.)

• "The hel' did you just call me? Heh, whatever... wait- someone comin'. And they look... exactly like me?"

Suddenly the Mimivore appears, along with Outer!Sans.

The Soul -

• "Fell... stay back. There's something else besides them. Wait! That's another hollow! and it's using him as a hostage-No, a Core!"

Fell!Sans -

• "... ...That thing's usin' him. Like a puppet."

The Soul -

• "It seems to be mimicking him... Down to his very code. Get ready, dealing with this thing won't be easy."

Fell clicks his tounge, before readying his combat stance.

Fell!Sans -

• "Tch. Let's put it down before it gets me too."

CHAPTER 2.1: THE NEGATALE PARADOX. (CREATOR NOTE: DO NOT PRONOUNCE NEGATALE'S NAME WRONG WHEN SHORTENING IT TO "NEGA" I BEG OF YOU)

After defeating Possesed outer sans... you now have to make a decision.

The Soul -

• "It's weakening, but not extinguished. a faint pulse..."

Fell!Sans:

• "Hmph. It sure is toughter than it looks."

The Soul -

• "Stay back, let me analyze that thing's status... Scanning... the possesion's deeply latched into his code. if we don't act... it'll fully adapt, becoming something that's more lethal—in short, a completely different entity."

Fell!Sans -

• "...We Can't take that risk."

[POSSESED] Outer!Sans -

The Soul -

• "... It seems like killing him is the only way to end it. there's no other solution. But this... that's not a calculation. i don't know what that is."

• "Tch. No time to whine. Finish it before it bites back."

The Soul -

Fell!Sans just stays quiet as you finish off Outer. or what's left of him, anyways.

Fell Proceeds to sit down, exhausted after the tough fight.

• "The fuck... did that just broadcast everywhere?! Tch. Every damn AU'S gonna be hunting us now."

The Soul -

• "We need to move immediatly! According to my data. There's a hidden zone close to this place. It should keep us safe for days, weeks even. Get close to me. i should be able to teleport us there... Ready? 3... 2... 1— Ugh! Something's disturbing my link... could it be that entity's doing...?"

Fell!Sans -

• "Crap. This place doesnt even have any shortcuts, either— Huh? this feeling... THAT WARPING FREAK AGAIN!"

The Soul -

• "W-We're being pulled—!"

Awakening in the void

The Soul -

• "... Oh, you're finally awake."

Fell just scoffs, acting like he wasn't checking up on you just now.

Fell!Sans -

• "Heh. Took ya long enough."

The Soul -

• "Now... Where are we?"

Fell!Sans -

• "No idea. Though, i can feel some strange energy in this place."

The Soul -

• "I see... so you can feel it too."

Suddenly the soul realizes something, (Methaphorically, it doesn't have a proper body afterall) turning to you

The Soul -

• "oh, that explains why you blacked out ealier. it seems to have a connection with you... interesting."

Fell!Sans -

• "Quit yappin'. Don't we have something better to do?"

The Soul -

• "Right. this place... looks like some kind of void. why would it warp us here? unless it's trying to-"

suddenly the soul is cut off by another voice. with the soul making a startled "!!?" sound

• "...You..."

Fell!Sans -

• "...Another one of these me-lookin' freaks?"

??? -

• "... The signal. Something broke through the static of this place. a boardcast... fragmented... corrupted... i watched it. i saw worlds ending. And at the center of it all... you."

Suddenly, the figure turns to look at you.

??? -

• "███, you look tired. That light keeping you alive... it's not a gift. it's a chain. It forces you to keep going. to keep "Protecting" until there's nothing left."

Fell!Sans -

• "Hey. Watch your mouth."

the figure then turns to look at fell. ??? -

• "...And you. You chose to stay beside them. Why?"

Fell!Sans -

• "Tch. Look. this Spark-soul is suspicious as hell. But as long as it's still standing, im keepin' an eye on it. And that's simply enough."

The soul is taken aback by fells words. yup, absolute tsundere right there.

The Soul -

• "Fell... i didn't expect you to—"

Fell!Sans -

• "...Shut it. i just hate people who talk in riddles."

??? -

• "Then you've made your choice."

Suddenly, the figure steps into the light. now revealed as NegaTale!Sans

NegaTale!Sans -

• "...im going to destroy that light. not to hurt you. but to free you. when that light breaks... we can finally rest. So, let's begin."

Oh shit he wants to "Kill" you-

but then all of a sudden, Negatale freezes up for a second.

• "...? (I... can't?)"

Fell!Sans -

• "You chokin' up over there, pal? you look stupid."

NegaTale!Sans -

• "(...I'll just have to find another way.)"

(OOC: Basically what negatale tried to do here is that he can't directly attack the soul with his big blasters, he does a work around this where he deliberatly tries to get attacked while charging the blaster so he flinches and "indirectly" hits the soul. and the timeline spam with the buzzing clones is just him trying to go to a timeline where he already "won" which allows him to just spam it)

you try to hit negatale while he was charging his blaster, thinking you'd get a free hit off. but suddenly the attack is redirected and hits the SOUL directly.

The Soul -

• "OW! Wait—that attack... it was- No. No, it shifted. mid-blast. to me."

Fell!Sans -

• "That guy... he baited you.you attacked during his charge."

The Soul -

• "He knew..."

CHAPTER 2.2: SWAPPED SANCTUARY

after fighting negatale for a while and actually finding and defeating him, you now have to make a choice. (we'll assume you spared him)

NegaTale!Sans -

• "...Don't understand. Idon't understand i don't understand i don't understand i don't understand YOU don't understand... I... failed. again. again. the broadcast... the signal... you appearing here... i thought it meant... You, you, you must——"

Negatale then suddenly proceeds to faint.

The Soul -

• "... He fainted. I suppose the way he fights... and the way this place connects to him... it was too much."

Fell!Sans - "So what now? Do we finish him or...?"

The Soul -

• "...That strange energy i sensed earlier... it has a connection to him."

The Soul (once again, METAPHORICALLY) turns to you

After defeating the "Drifter"

The Soul -

• "Its structure is collapsing. One more should do it."

Fell!Sans -

• "Then what are you waiting for."

but then cue a tall figure just cutting in beetween you and the drifter

The Soul -

• "Hold On— Something just cut in beetween you and the target."

Fell!Sans -

• "So? Just push through it."

The Soul -

• "Wait, it's not attacking. It's just.. standing there. Between you and the target."

Fell!Sans -

• "Who cares what it's doing. Go around it."

The Soul -

• "But.. Hollows... They dont' do that. Hollows dont protect things. They consume. and that is all they do. So why is it—"

Suddenly the "Drifter speaks"

Drifter? -

The Soul -

• "... That wasn't a hollow sound. That was a—"

Fell!Sans and the Soul are in shock. the soul proceeds to begin murmuring to themselves.

The Soul -

• "Every reading confirmed Hollow signatures. Every scan. Every signal from wave one. The data was consitent. There were no anomalies. Something rewrote my entire framework and i did not detect it."

Swap!Papyrus (ANGRY) -

• "QUIT YOUR ACTS, GIVE ME ONE REASON WHY I SHOULD NOT—"

The Soul -

• "We didn't know. This wasn't—"

And then they're cut off by another voice.

• "I can't stand it any longer. For all of the multiverse's sake, you must—"

and then the voice is interrupted by another voice.

And then you're knocked out by a slash, before being teleported away along with the soul and fell.

AFTERMATH

The Soul -

• "Oh... you're awake. Well, we're somewhere... somewhere else. Same quality as before. Same absence of... anything."

Fell!Sans -

The Soul -

• "I don't know. I didn't detect it. I didn't detect any of it. The hollows. The residents. Those two. All of it. I was wrong about all of it. There was something in that place deliberately overriding my analysis. Something that knew how i worked. And i still walked right into it."

Fell!Sans -

• "...Don't. We all walked into it. Even you, weird freak." he turns to look at you. Before whipping around as he hears another voice

Well, i did escape them, but only for this time period. The "Shield" i put around this place would make them unable to track us, it could even prevent these "Lifeless husks" from entering—"

The Soul -

(He's reffering to crimson prelude, after the sans_Simulation was beaten and the soul's shield was shattered before training could continue.)
