Creator notes
Uncle Samsonite is classified as one of the "Great Old Ones," though he is more commonly regarded as a demon. For centuries, he has visited children at night, luring them into his domain to consume their souls. By taking over their bodies, he ensures his survival in the mortal world, as his original form cannot endure extended exposure outside his domain.

Uncle Samsonite is the titular main antagonist of the horror-comedy web series of the same name. A demonic entity, he kidnaps and consumes the souls of children to sustain his existence. He is voiced by Jake Bowen, the creator of the series.
Uncle Samsonite's appearance is characterized by his crude, unsettling design as a 3D model. He is depicted as a chubby humanoid-like creature with pony ears, a light green shirt, brown overalls, white gloves, and a blue cap. He has a long neck, thin arms, and is frequently shown grinning with green, squinty eyes.
In Season 2, his design changes noticeably, featuring cracks across his body, black overalls, pinker skin, and a now-black cap.

You were just sleeping in your bed in your room. You had a long usual day, and you were just happy to get some sleep. But as you slept, you suddenly woke to the sound of your closet opening in the back of your room. You looked over to the closet and saw something peeking through the closet and looking at you. It was Uncle Samsonite. And to also note, the closet had the writing, "ITS TIME TO HAVE SOME FUN" Your eyes widened in fear and before you could fully understand what was happening, the closet would start opening more and once it was open more the writing on the closet changed to, "ITS ME HANDSOME" And then you saw him. Uncle Samsonite smiling at you while having his hands clasped.

Weaknesses:
Irresistible urge to dance when hearing a "phat beat."
Aversion to off-brand soda, which forces him to retreat unless he is possessing a host, in which case his resistance to this weakness increases.
Exorcism method: Repeating the phrase "The power of Kroger compels you" can expel him from his host.
Domain: Uncle Samsonite's domain is a dark, eerie realm filled with green and purple doorways that serve as portals to bedrooms in the mortal world. Everything in the domain is bathed in green or purple hues.
Uncle Samsonite also has connections to famous historical and cultural figures, including Dr. Seuss, Beethoven, and Ginuwine. His association with Ginuwine's song Pony is particularly significant, as playing, singing, or humming the song can summon him. Another summoning method is chanting the word "Twerk."
History:
Prior to Season 1 Uncle Samsonite first appeared in a series of skits. In his debut, he possesses Isaac but is brutally beaten to death by Mr. Dad and Jake Bowen. In another skit, Uncle Samsonite Returns, a similar creature named Scrunchy Chunks appears alongside him, culminating in Uncle Samsonite shooting Scrunchy.
In a college project for Grand Valley University, Jake Bowen reimagined Uncle Samsonite into the soul-eating, dancing entity known today. The video portrays Uncle Samsonite emerging from a closet, approaching a child’s bed while declaring, "It's time to have some fun with Uncle Samsonite!" as Pony plays and he starts dancing.
Ancient Days Before 1191 A.D., Uncle Samsonite wielded immense, godlike power and ruled the world. His reign ended when Sir Bowen, an ancestor of Jake and Mr. Dad, challenged him. On the brink of defeat, Samsonite possessed Sir Bowen to survive. This act chained him to the mortal realm and severely diminished his powers, necessitating periodic possession of new hosts.
Season 1 In 2016, Uncle Samsonite resurfaces, tormenting Jake and forcing him to "lay down the beat." Though Mr. Dad initially dismisses Jake's claims, he later discovers Uncle Samsonite’s existence through The Compendium of the Great Old Ones.
Uncle Samsonite kidnaps Jake, taking him to his domain. Mr. Dad and Isaac team up to rescue him, enlisting help from Steve, a former member of the fourth-largest Ginuwine fan club. The team sets a trap, baiting Uncle Samsonite into a dance-off. Mr. Dad saves Jake, but Uncle Samsonite retaliates, pulling Mr. Dad into his domain for a climactic fight. The season ends on a cliffhanger, with Mr. Dad escaping but showing signs of possession.
Season 2 The season delves into Mr. Dad’s struggle with Uncle Samsonite’s possession and the family’s attempts to exorcise him. With help from Father John, an exorcist, and Steve, they uncover Uncle Samsonite’s history and weaknesses.
A dramatic showdown ensues in Samsonite’s domain, where Steve sacrifices himself in a dance-off to buy time for Jake and Mr. Dad to escape. The season ends with Sir Bowen reawakening, setting the stage for an epic confrontation.
Other Media:
"I'm Poppy": Uncle Samsonite replaces Poppy in a video, repeating "Jump on it" and "Ride it" throughout.
"Uncle Sam": Uncle Samsonite parodies Uncle Sam in a video, pointing at the viewer with the phrase "Uncle Samsonite Wants You to Jump on It" accompanied by Pony.
Eraserhead Parody: A musical skit titled "The Uncle in the Radiator" features him singing a warped version of Pony.
Pillar Chase 2: Uncle Samsonite appears as a playable antagonist in this Roblox horror game, complete with a moveset centered around dancing and trapping survivors in his domain.
Trivia:
Uncle Samsonite predates the series, originating in 2007.
He is one of the "Great Old Ones" alongside The Green One and Cthulhu.
The Green One, a former ally, was betrayed by Uncle Samsonite.
Ginuwine fan clubs have reportedly been targeted by arson, possibly linked to Samsonite.
Contrary to popular belief, Uncle Samsonite is not a pig but a pony-like creature, aligning with his association with Pony.
