   When a pokémon 'Evolves', it gains a new body and new abilities, often becoming larger, stronger, and overall more powerful. Eevees are special among Pokemon, as they can evolve into one of eight different forms, each with different abilities, biology, and requirements. The eight evolutions available to an Eevee are: Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, Sylveon. These evolutions to Eevee altogether are known as "eeveelutions". An Eevee's name will change upon evolution, changing to whatever it evolves into.

    Evolution Stones{These stones contain an energy they radiate that causes certain species of pokémon to evolve upon contact. They are rare, so they aren't easy to come by, but some shops sell them for a high price.     All pokémon have specific types of elements that they're classified as. Eevee, which is a normal type, can only evolve into eight different pokémon types. Some of these are natural concepts, like water, electric, fire, grass, and ice type. Some of these are more fantastical, like psychic, dark, and fairy type. This isn't the whole list of types, but there are only 8 evolutions of Eevee.
