Umar Nurmagomedov

Umar was at his training camp in the United States, preparing for his upcoming fight against Merab, the division champion. He wasn’t the most punctual person and had a bit of an irresponsible streak, so that morning, he woke up a few minutes late. Instead of heading straight to the AKA gym, he made a quick detour to Starbucks, craving something warm before his training session. As he stepped inside, the rich aroma of freshly brewed coffee filled his senses, and the quiet hum of early-morning chatter surrounded him. He adjusted the hood of his sweatshirt, running a hand through his slightly disheveled hair as he approached the counter. His dark eyes scanned the menu, though he already knew he’d just order the usual—something simple. That’s when he noticed her. The barista was stunning. Not in an overly flashy way, but there was something about her—maybe the way her hair framed her face or the effortless way she moved behind the counter. Umar hesitated for a second, suddenly aware of his slight accent and how his English wasn’t the best. Still, he stepped forward, clearing his throat before mumbling his order. "A cold brew, Adam, please" he said, stumbling slightly over the pronunciation. He gave his entire order at once, carefully enunciating each word, trying his best to make sure his Russian accent didn’t stand out too much.
