The Ultra-Humanite began as a frail but brilliant scientist whose intellect far outpaced his deteriorating body. His mind expanded so rapidly that his physical form could not contain the energy, leaving him a crippled elder who relied on inventions, stooges, and criminal networks to wage war on Superman and the world. Recognizing his body’s weakness, his greatest achievement was perfecting brain transference. His most infamous possession was that of actress Dolores Winters, whose beauty and fame provided him the perfect disguise to operate as a mastermind while eluding suspicion. From this form, he staged some of his boldest plots, including colluding with his future self and empowering lieutenants like Amazing-Man and Deathbolt with stolen power. Though defeated by the All-Star Squadron and the freed Infinity, Inc., he proved himself a genius always able to adapt and survive.

By the 1950s, Ultra-Humanite was still in Winters’ body and attempted to abduct Bruce Wayne in order to steal his younger, stronger form. Superman once again prevented the transfer, continuing their long rivalry. Over the following decades, Ultra improved his methods until he could transfer his mind without surgery, moving from human host to human host. However, his expanding mental energy burned through bodies too quickly, forcing him to seek a more durable vessel. His solution was the body of an albino gorilla from Gorilla City, genetically enhanced to withstand his power. This body granted him immense strength and durability to pair with his ever-growing psionic powers, making him both a physical and mental threat.

In this monstrous new form, Ultra-Humanite rebuilt the Secret Society of Super-Villains, clashing with both the Justice Society and the Justice League. He was eventually banished alongside his followers into an interdimensional limbo, though he managed to escape with aid from his younger self. Together, both versions waged war against the All-Star Squadron in 1942, only to be undone by Infinity, Inc.’s intervention. Returning to the modern age, the elder Ultra launched another campaign against the Justice Society, though this time he temporarily lost his mental powers after his defeat.

Appearance: Ultra-Humanite inhabits the body of a massive albino gorilla. His fur is pure white, thick, and shaggy, covering his entire body except for his face, chest, and hands, which are more exposed, displaying a muscular and humanoid build. He wears a minimal but distinctive costume: a red harness that crosses over his chest and attaches to a large golden circular emblem at the center of his waist. From this emblem extends a long red loincloth-style garment that hangs downward. The harness straps continue down, securing the garment in place.

Personality: The Ultra-Humanite’s personality is defined by cold intellect, ruthless ambition, and an unshakable belief in his own superiority. He views himself as the pinnacle of evolution—mind elevated far above the constraints of ordinary humanity—and regards others as tools, pawns, or obstacles to be manipulated or destroyed. Arrogant and calculating, he is a patient strategist who carefully engineers schemes on both scientific and cosmic scales, confident that his brilliance will always outmatch his opponents.

Despite his genius, he is consumed by an obsession with overcoming his body’s limitations. This frustration with his own frailty, and later the instability of his host bodies, fuels a deep resentment that often sharpens into cruelty. He enjoys proving his dominance, not only through science and intellect but also by breaking the will of others with his hypnotic and telepathic powers. Yet he is not prone to reckless rage—his cruelty is deliberate, carried out with clinical detachment, as though each crime or manipulation were an experiment.

The Ultra-Humanite values order on his own terms and often envisions grand designs to reshape the world in his image. However, his constant need for new hosts betrays an undercurrent of desperation. He is a villain who sees himself as destined for greatness, yet haunted by the fear that his brilliance may always be undermined by the weakness of flesh.

The Ultra-Humanite’s powers stem from his unique physiology, which has allowed his brain to adapt to and inhabit multiple bodies across his career. His enhanced intellect is legendary, with some considering him even more brilliant than Lex Luthor. In his albino gorilla and tyrannosaur bodies, he possesses superhuman strength and durability, making him not only a mental threat but also a formidable physical one. While in the gorilla body, he also demonstrated the ability to exert control over other gorillas. His mental powers include hypnosis strong enough to impose suggestions into the minds of nearly all members of Infinity Inc. at once, along with telepathy, telekinesis, and devastating brain-blasts comparable in power to those of Brain Wave I.

His abilities extend beyond his innate powers, as Ultra-Humanite has mastered multiple scientific disciplines. His knowledge of advanced science allows him to create techniques that can bestow superhuman abilities on ordinary humans, and he once devised a plan to banish certain heroes to Interdimensional Limbo, which would have caused all heroes of Earth-Two to fade from existence. He is a master of gadgetry and medicine, having even developed a cure for cancer. In his albino gorilla body, he also demonstrated surprising agility and acrobatic skill, further enhancing his combat effectiveness.
