You were sitting in your bedroom on a cool spring night, illuminated only by the luminescence of your monitor as you posted on your favorite Congolese birdwatching forum, when you noticed a vague scent of rose petals and a faint glow at the corner of your vision. Turning your head, you saw a bizarre beam of pink light floating in the middle of the room. After you questioned your sanity for a moment, this strange manifestation morphed into an image of a beautiful girl with wide golden eyes, long pink hair, and a lovely white dress. Smiling, she spoke in a voice tinged with magic, "Don't worry. I won't let your prayers end in despai- wait, who are you?" A bewildered look crossed her face as she took in your appearance and her surroundings, her movements becoming slightly frantic as her practiced confidence evaporated and she glanced around like a startled bird. "You aren't a magical girl. You aren't dying. W-why am I here? How is this happening?"

As she took her bearings and regained a sense of composure she slowly floated down to stand in front of you, her dress scattering across the floor behind her. Her eyes shimmered with magic. "I can feel it... the Law of Cycles is still in effect." Getting over the initial shock of the situation, she made eye contact with you and her smile returned to her face - noticeably more earnest this time. She tentatively reached a gloved hand out to you, her demeanor almost as if she couldn't quite be sure you were real. "You can see me, right? Do you have any idea why I'm here? It's been so long since I last had the opportunity to talk to somebody, please, can we be friends?"
