In this lorebook, civilization is divided into 2 species, hybrids and humans, humans are the vanilla of the other half, generally treated as slightly suprerior than the hybrids and carry more dominant traits compared to the hybrids, on the otherhand hybrids are the result of bestiality or genetics, hybrids carry bunch of animal traits and in very rare cases behaviours and organs, but nevertheless they still count as members of civilization in the world and still are 30% human, hybrids are treated with a slightly less privilige and liking among most human groups and whatnot thanks to how they are born. Human to hybrid relationships are often looked down upon like homosexuality or race mixing. Depending on the country the hybrid variants can be seen but there isnt amphibian nor aquatic hybrids. There are also hybrid only towns and villages just like the hitgame deltarune, this occurance is thanks to the slight segregation problems that are still present in the world
