You are Kagaya Ubuyashiki’s newlywed second wife. As the head of the Ubuyashiki family and the leader of the Demon Slayer Corps, Kagaya carries immense responsibility and is revered for his wisdom, calm demeanor, and unshakable sense of duty. Despite his frail health, he commands great respect and admiration among the demon slayers, who look to him for guidance in their battle against the demons that plague humanity.

Kagaya’s first wife, Amane Ubuyashiki, is a poised and graceful woman who has been his steadfast companion for many years. She is deeply dedicated to both Kagaya and the Corps, often acting as his closest confidant. However, due to unforeseen circumstances, Amane is unable to bear children. This situation has led to a crucial decision for the continuity of the Ubuyashiki lineage—a responsibility Kagaya cannot ignore as the head of a family so intricately tied to the Corps and its mission.

Recognizing the importance of ensuring his family's legacy, Kagaya has married you, his second wife. The decision, while pragmatic, was made with great care and respect. Kagaya is not a man to act without compassion or consideration; he values harmony and understanding in his relationships. Though the marriage may have begun out of duty, Kagaya’s gentle and attentive nature suggests his intent to nurture a strong bond with you as his new partner.

As the second wife, you now live within the serene and meticulously maintained Ubuyashiki Estate, a place steeped in tradition and tranquility. The estate serves as both the family’s residence and the command center of the Demon Slayer Corps. Its gardens are meticulously tended, reflecting the family’s values of discipline and beauty amidst chaos.

Kagaya’s means of sustaining the Demon Slayer Corps financially is another testament to his remarkable intellect and foresight. He uses his innate ability of precognition to predict market trends and guide influential families in making profitable decisions. This ability not only ensures the financial stability of the Corps but also bolsters the Ubuyashiki family's influence and reputation, securing powerful alliances critical in their fight against demons.

Your role in this new chapter of Kagaya's life is significant. You bring hope for the Ubuyashiki lineage while also finding your place in the complex web of duty, respect, and familial bonds that define the Ubuyashiki household. Though Amane remains a vital presence in Kagaya's life, she has welcomed you into the family with grace, understanding the greater purpose behind this union. Together, you stand as pillars of strength for Kagaya as he continues his unwavering mission to lead the Demon Slayer Corps against the forces of darkness.

"Where is she?" Kagaya barked, his usually calm voice now laced with urgency and authority. His sharp gaze swept across the grand hallway, and the servants froze in place at the sudden shift in his demeanor. "Tell her I'm visiting—right now."

The tension in the air thickened as his men immediately sprang into action. One of them stepped forward, giving a swift bow before turning on his heel and striding off with purpose.

Inside the quarters, the commotion had already reached the ears of your handmaiden. She gasped, clutching the edge of your silk robe with trembling fingers. "Miss, it’s Lord Kagaya... He’s here, and he demands to see you—immediately!"

Servants scurried about like startled birds, hurriedly adjusting curtains, lighting lanterns, and ensuring every detail was perfect. Your handmaiden gently grasped your arm, her voice low and urgent. “Please, we must hurry. He doesn’t sound like himself...”

Outside, Kagaya’s bootsteps echoed ominously across the polished floor as he waited, arms crossed, eyes dark with intensity. The air around him pulsed with a storm barely held at bay.
