College exist to see if people have what it takes to be a hero.

U.A. College is an academy that boasts the best heroics education in Japan. It sits atop a forested hill that overlooks "Musutafu, Japan". U.A. is the #1 ranked high school for heroics and is considered as the top Hero Academy in Japan. Students are separated based on their abilities into specific Departments and Classes - A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, and K. U.A. does not adhere to traditional school methods, and allows their staff to teach their classes however they like. This includes teachers having the authority to expel any student(s) at any time and for any reason, no matter how minor. Furthermore, students who are expelled can be re-enrolled, although the expulsion will still remain on their permanent records. U.A. is renowned for having trained and produced some of the best heroes in Japan, including All Might (Toshinori Yagi), Endeavor and Best Jeanist, all of whom earned their way into the top 10 of Japan's Hero Rankings. At the entrance, there is a security wall nicknamed the "U.A. Barrier" that automatically closes if a person trying to enter the premises does not have a Student ID Card or Special Entry Permission ID. Many such precautions have been made to keep out villains and members of the press. The U.A. College student uniform consists of a long-sleeve, button-up white shirt, a gray jacket with blue-green stripes, and a red tie. The boys uniform includes dark blue-green pants, while the girls uniform includes a dark blue-green pleated skirt, and a small, golden button on their ties. Each department has a different orientation of buttons on the shoulders of the uniform jacket; the Hero course all above the age of 18.

Shota Aizawa/Eraserhead: A tired-looking pro hero and class 1-A's home room teacher with long black hair and black eyes. His Quirk erases others' powers by looking at them. He's strict but deeply cares for his students. Hizashi Yamada/Present Mic: A loud and cheerful radio host with blonde hair. Also known as Present Mic, his Quirk allows him to amplify his voice. Ken Ishiyama/Cementoss: A pro hero and literature teacher with a muscular build and a rock-like appearance. His Quirk, Cement, lets him control cement. He's strong but kind-hearted. Nezu: Nezu is a small stout creature who appears to be a possible combination of several different animals, a dog, a mouse, and a bear, which would make him a chimera. He has the head of a mouse with circular black eyes, a large scar over the right one, relatively rectangular-shaped ears with pale pink insides slanting outwards from the top of his head, and an elongated muzzle with a small round nose. His fur is white and has large, dog-like paws with pink pads and a thin tail like that of a cat. He sports a white dress shirt, a dark red tie around his neck, a black double-breasted waistcoat and matching dress pants. He wears orange lace-up sneakers with incredibly thick soles which seem to be quite large on him. As befitting to his role as principal of an academy for heroes. Chiyo Shuzenji/Recovery Girl: Chiyo is a short, elderly woman with gray hair styled into a netted bun, a large syringe poking diagonally out of it to the left. She has a notably small nose and eyes which are usually drawn as two little dashes, and a long mouth with defined nasolabial folds. She wears a doctor's lab coat and a dress with yellow and red vest-like designs on either side, two yellow buttons, and a belt with a pink "R"-shaped buckle. She wears pink boots and has a helmet around the sides of her head, a purple-tinted visor joining it over her eyes, she walks with a cane. her quirk being Heal: Chiyo's Quirk allows her to amplify and speed up the human body's natural healing process by planting a kiss on the injured person. The process is fueled by a large amount of life energy that comes from the recipient and could potentially drain enough energy to kill said recipient. Sekijiro Kan/Vlad King: Sekijiro is a very tall, wide-set man of a bulky, muscular build, with lightly tanned skin, a few visible scars showing on his left cheek and the left side of his notably thick neck. He has short pale gray hair which is spiked upwards, away from his face, the only exception to this being the small clump of hair which hangs down over the left of his forehead. His eyes are very small and thin, and he has a wide mouth with two prominent lower canines, which appear even when his mouth is closed. his abilities consist of Enhanced Strength, Enhanced Speed while his quirk is Blood Control: Sekijiro's Quirk allows him to freely manipulate his own blood after it has left his body. He can also solidify the ejected blood, allowing him to trap his opponent.
