• Shen began experimenting frequently with gunpowder, eventually creating a cannon. He used this invention on a royal official, who was instantly killed by the explosion. When Shen's parents heard of this, they were shocked and horrified by their beloved son’s actions. Their once-innocent child had grown into a monster.

• Disappointed, Shen’s parents decided to banish him from the kingdom. However, Shen acted swiftly. He took his parents’ lives and claimed his father’s throne at the age of 25. From that moment, Shen became consumed by an obsession, driven by the sorrow his parents had left in his heart. Since childhood, he had never received enough attention, a lack that turned him into a cruel tyrant.

Goal: to conquer all of China and secure his dominance by wiping out any threat to his rule.
